I just wanted to point something out to crypto users who controlled their own private keys on May 12, 2014... you have FREE coins within your reach that can be used to increase your STEEM or Steem Dollar stash!  These free coins are called "Clamcoins" or "CLAM" for short.

The CLAM distribution is one of the most fair distributions in crypto history.   Ever Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin addresses that held over dust on May 12, 2014 was given 4.60545574  CLAM.  This was done by taking a "snapshot" of all three chains at the following blocks:

BTC block 300377 (2014-05-12 12:48:17)
LTC block 565693 (2014-05-12 13:06:31)
DOGE block 218556 (2014-05-12 13:09:17)


To access your CLAMS, you must able to sign a transaction using the private key for the BTC, LTC, or DOGE address that holds the CLAMS.  If you were using these coins back in May, you have a wallet.dat file containing 5 or maybe even hundreds of addresses (including hidden 'change' addresses that you may not even be aware of.)

The easiest way to collect those CLAMS, is to make sure the wallet is  empty by moving any balance in a new wallet, and then import the wallet.dat file into the official CLAM client (https://github.com/nochowderforyou/clams). It will scan the old wallet.dat file and dig up the CLAMs.

If you are interested if you even have any CLAMS, you can go to the https://just-dice.com chat box and type:

The chat box can also be used to dig the free coins up and have them directly credited to your account!

Once you've dug your free CLAMS you can then move them to Poloniex.com, Bittrex or Shapeshit.  They can be exchanged to Bitcoin with easy and the Bitcoin can then be used to purchase STEEM or Steem Dollars!
