“Decisions in Dilemma: When Doing Right Isn’t Easy”

A dilemma is a situation in which you have to choose between two or more options, but none of them is completely satisfactory or ideal.

Often, these options are such that choosing one of them has some negative consequences on the other or ethical dilemmas.

In simple terms, it is a "ditch in front, ditch behind" situation. You have to make a choice, but each choice has its own challenges or disadvantages.

There is always more than one option to choose from. No option is completely flawless, or all options have their own disadvantages.

Often it is an ethical dilemma, where choosing one option may violate the moral principles of the other, or it may simply be a practical problem, where each option presents some challenges.

Being caught in a dilemma makes it very difficult to make decisions, because each option has its own consequences that must be accepted.

Let's say your car breaks down and you need to get to work on time. You can either take a taxi, which will cost a lot of money, or wait for the bus, which will take a lot of time and you will be late.
