But the truth is that we can’t control everything. When we try to control too much, it causes us stress, anxiety and frustration. Not everything needs to be controlled. Some things in life just happen better when we give them a little freedom. Have faith, be patient and learn to go with the flow. Focus on the things that are within your control – your thoughts, your actions and your reactions. True wisdom is to leave the rest to time and circumstance. There is so much in the world that is out of your control – the weather, what people think, what events will happen in life. If you try to control all of these, you will exhaust yourself.  When things don’t go according to your plan, you get angry, sad or stressed. This is very harmful to mental health. When you accept that “everything is not in my hands,” you experience peace, ease and trust. You become more open and understanding. If you worry about these external things, your energy will be wasted. But if you accept that you have tried your best, and the rest is now left to time and circumstances – your mind will be at peace. Focus on your efforts, worry about the result When something is not in your control, accept it wisely, not compulsively. Don’t try to fix everything all the time – sometimes things work out on their own.
