The Covid Crash was EPIC!

The first day of the lockdown was epic. I got sloshed! I pretty much knew our way of life was KIA. To a degree I always knew our way of life was re-hypothecated into existence much like GOLD. Western way of life is living off of debt and having endless products and services to purchase. 

As the 50 year anniversary of the GOLD standard ending we mark 50 years going back to a printing press. The importance of this event from then President Nixon  (I'm not a crook) should never be overlooked. Gold in it's purest form as money required responsibility. As the United States no longer had the gold to back up it's currency; inflation would become the future which is now the present.

The printing press is just too much temptation for governments in debt not to adhere too. So here we are trying to keep up in a world that has lost total control of inflation. Of course there's talks of 'tapering' already maddening amounts of digital dollars; but we all know this can never happen. 

Central banks know what the average investor knows; they are just waiting to pivot to whatever the next scheme will be. Everything is transitory including crypto. Money is Power and if that money is becoming devalued it's obvious a new scheme needs to transpire. When there is blood in the streets it's time to acquire 'cheap' assets.

Crypto was a steal but many of us were distracted. Luckily before the pandemic I was active on HIVE and acquiring truly cheap coins. Payouts these day's reflect the 'strength' of HIVE and it is more difficult to acquire. We all need to pause and reflect. Right now we are in a bull-market. This is the time to seriously reflect on where 'cheap' investments need to go. Like I have said previously, we all have to consider where to park value. Will BTC be cheap at $50,000 USD? What is even USD?

Gold is manipulated of course. We have to ask ourseles where does crypto and gold fit into these new scheme's. Gold and Crypto are a form of freedom. Freedom is not the objective of central banks and world wide bankrupt governments. Here in Canada I am not concerned with the value of gold as our central bank has NONE. Will Canada nationalize gold mines owned by foreign entities if the world desires gold? Perhaps.. 

Crypto (BTC) has a stronger form of transparency than gold. Bitcoin is a very good bet as its main mechanism is to protect wealth and track payments. Tracking payments is the stuff of Government dreams. Governments and their Central Bank dreams have amalgamated and will have CBCD. Honestly I feel we are in such uncharted territory all we can do is speculate. The only thing history has taught me is that currency wars turn into trade wars, which then end in world wars. Where are we in that cycle?
