Mr Wonderful doesn't seem to be too bothered by the fact Sam Bankman-Fried took billions in investment and then drove the FTX cryptocurrency exchange and crypto ecosystem into the ground.

In [an interview](https://twitter.com/MLeeJr/status/1592586343229853697?t=YMaWp6HrDKTKt9St6XEqag&s=19) he is asked the polarising question and his response is shocking.

Keep in mind besides Shark Tank and his other lesser-known pursuits, O'Leary was a paid spokesperson and investor in the failed FTX platform. Kevin is part of a lawsuit against FTX and the many people who helped promote it.

When asked the question, "would you back him?", O'Leary responded.

Wow. Where are the cuffs? It's time to throw crazy Kevin into the clink. They put Britney Spears into a conservativship, maybe Kevin needs to be put into one too.

Despite saying he wouldn't let SBF have operational control of the assets, he says trading control. Isn't trading control the same thing? If SBF wanted to squander billions again, it would just take a few poor trades to operationally destroy another company.

The fact Kevin is still backing SBF after what he did, it doesn't reflect well on his character. Who in their right mind would go anywhere near SBF who is facing possible jail time? Maybe Kevin should be going to jail too. He was a paid spokesperson, after all.

It's like a professional race car driver getting drunk and killing a child in their car, then saying, "well, they're a great driver. The best driver I have ever seen"
