THE WIND / catch it if you can

**About the Poem-**

My poem *The Wind* deals with the omnipresence of God, the idea that spiritual forces exist. 

**About the Art-**

The image I created shows man's attempt to gain power, to control it and hoard it to fulfill his own greed. **The Wind**

The wind pauses,
catches its breath
before moving again.

My heart pounds
a round fist 
on the lectern.

Each day brings
new sorrows
burdens and fears.

Surely there's
more than just
me.

I can feel the wind
as it touches 
my skin.
