THREE LEGGED DOG / quality life is about point of view.

### Three Legged Dog

He cuddles the kitchen stove, licks
salty grease from the tip of my shoe. 

Dimpled linoleum is painted in warmth,
he consumes window light.

I walk in the room and he smiles,
the knots on his spine waggle his tail.

On freshly mowed grass he rolls to his back, 
his ears and his tongue are slapping him silly.

He follows my shadow as it crosses the wall,
barks as if calling its name. 

He is confused with the idea of having a master,
but knows he has fallen in love.  

He raises his head when angels appear,
then worries they are looking for me.

The owner brought it on a trolley but let it out and it was quite please to hop around on 3
