Developments needed to propel the Hive blockchain into Top 100 cryptocurrencies
The Hive blockchain is currently ranked outside of the Top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, as of 23 February 2023. Hive is ranking #218 according to [CoinGecko](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/hive) with a Hive price of $0.458576 and a Market cap of $170,264,633. However, there are a few factors that could potentially help it climb the ranks and enter the Top 100 one step at a time.

**Increased Adoption:** The Hive blockchain is designed for social media and content creation, and it already has a significant user base. However, if more people start using Hive for content creation and social media, the demand for the HIVE cryptocurrency that powers the network could increase, which could help its market capitalization grow.

**Improvements to User Experience:** The Hive blockchain is relatively user-friendly compared to other blockchains, but there is always room for improvement. Making it even easier for people to use the platform and the HIVE cryptocurrency could help increase adoption and demand.

**Partnerships:** Forming partnerships with other blockchain projects or companies could help bring more attention and credibility to Hive. For example, if a major social media platform or content creation site were to integrate with Hive, that could increase its visibility and value.

However, by focusing on adoption, user experience, partnerships, and technical improvements, Hive could potentially increase its value and climb the ranks of the top cryptocurrencies. Hive truly deserved to be in Top 100, even in top 10, Steem once was in top 10 at the time of 2017 bull run. If I am remembering correctly. after forking from steem, developing on hive is on peak and we have great apps like splinter lands and Leo finance and many more.

I think key partnerships will definitely bring more visibility to Hive and more visibility equates to more potential users. It will immensely help in propelling Hive into the top 100. But there currently isn't any definitive structure for that. Technical improvements and increase adoption could also be great ways to propel Hive into the top 100.
