Let's face it, everyone that got rich off the initial hype of the Terra project has most likely forgotten about it. The massive drop from the top is going to be annals of crypto history. 

Terra Blockchain started a project that was built on the shakiest of foundations known to man. Right now, what was known as Luna, in the past is currently Lunc and while still being in the top 100 crypto ranking, it is well and truly a dead project. 

The once dead LUNC is now regarded as Luna and the jury is well and truly out on the project. However, I have to say that a decision to back the project at this point in time, has to be one of the bravest moves anybody can make right now. 


I was one of the recipients of the Luna airdrop for holding LUNC(previously LUNA) and I have to say that it was very underwhelming. All my expectations for the project went to shit and all I have is a couple of dollars worth of both Luna and Lunch sitting in my wallet. 

In my lofty dreams, I had hoped that we'd see a situation where LUNC would experience a massive pump leading to the airdrop. I also hoped that we'd have LUNA pumping aggressively after the airdrop, to drive traffic into the project. 

My expectations for both coins turned out to be totally out of place, as neither has actually been in the spotlight for the right reason. It sort of makes me wonder if this is how things were when the Ethereum and Ethereum classic fork happened. 


I feel like "major events" tend to seem a bit bigger than they are when happening in real time. So it is kind of impossible to gain any sort of perspective with this Luna debacle because while Hive is a fork of Steem, it is much different while still drawing parallels since the "centralised wallet" was forked out. 

In the future, history might create the impression that the current bear market was as a result of the Luna collapse. People will say that investor confidence was decimated because the crash of the apex Algo stable coin project was too much for the market to handle. 

The point I'm making is that there will be different narratives about the situation and while most of them will most likely be agenda-driven, it is important to point out that reality is the best perspective. 

In reality, Terra 1.0 is a failed project and a fork doesn't automatically make it better. Investing in a respawn of what we could call the carcass of a *ded* coin isn't exactly smart money. 

That notwithstanding, there will still be backers of the project because regardless of the small picture, Luna was a massive success. So, yes, the jury is still out, but Luna 2.0 is actually a second chance to get rekt but virtually everything else in the perilous crypto market can be described in the same way.
