<center>**¿What is your formula for managing stress and becoming overwhelmed, if you've experienced it, during the holiday season?**</center>
A question that for **Christmas 2020** I had no answer, I will tell you why; for that year I started working where I am currently here in Maturin, in the last week of December, we were notified that by order of management on the 31st we had to work until 5 in the afternoon, and previously they had said it would be until 12 noon, I was immediately worried, because I was supposed to spend New Year's Eve in El Tejero with my family and friends.

The 31st arrived, my mother and sister left early for El Tejero, except for my partner who stayed to wait for me; Without anything planned, I left at 5 in the afternoon, I arrived at the residence, he had everything ready to leave, we arrived at the Terminal and there were no cars or passengers, **"the stress increased more",** without wasting time we went to a cooperative, which could leave us in Punta de Mata, much closer to our destination, I calmed down momentarily, until the driver gave us the price of the ticket, the money we had was not enough, they were practically charging us the value of my fortnight's salary; It was already very late, I was very overwhelmed, to the point that I almost cried, "I let myself be controlled by stress and anxiety", thinking that I would no longer be with my family at the end of the year, but my partner talked to that man and accepted the money we had more food products that we were taking.

<center>We arrived at Punta de Mata at night, with no money, no food, the only thing left to do was to call my mother-in-law to wait for us at the bus stop so that she could pay our fare from Punta de Mata to El Tejero.</center>

Already with this experience lived in the last **Christmas,** I decided with time to plan and organize what would be that December 31, starting talk to a cab driver to make us the trip, but also to share the cost of the service, talk to two coworkers who also had to travel that same day, that way I already had the car and more passengers ready; This time everything was simpler, I asked them to take their things, bags and suitcases all well organized for the job at once; we left at 5 pm, just like last year, but my partner was already with him waiting for us in the cab driver's parking lot, and we left each one to our destination.
My formula to control stress this year and not feel overwhelmed again, was to use time in our favor, to plan the most viable and economical option to travel that day, and after that, organize everything well so that the plan is executed in the best way, for the comfort of us and also the cab driver.

<center>**¿Cuál es su fórmula para controlar el estrés y no agobiarse, si lo ha experimentado, durante las fiestas navideñas?**</center>
Una pregunta que para las **Navidades del 2020** no tenía respuesta, les comento el porqué; para ese año entre a trabajar donde estoy actualmente aquí en Maturín, en la última semana del mes de diciembre, nos notificaron que por orden de gerencia el día 31 debíamos trabajar hasta las 5 de la tarde, y anteriormente habían dicho que sería hasta las 12 del mediodía, enseguida me preocupe, porque se suponía que pasaría fin de año en El Tejero con mi familia y amigos.

Llego el día 31, mi Madre y hermana se fueron temprano para El Tejero, excepto mi pareja que se quedó a esperarme; sin nada planeado, Salí a las 5 de la tarde, llegue a la residencia, ya él tenía todo listo para irnos, llegamos al Terminal y no había carros ni pasajeros, **“el estrés aumento más”,** sin perder tiempo nos fuimos a una cooperativa, que nos podía dejar en Punta de Mata, mucho más cerca de nuestro destino, me tranquilice momentáneamente, hasta que el chófer nos dio el precio del pasaje, el dinero que teníamos no nos alcanzaba, prácticamente nos estaban cobrando el valor de mi quincena salarial; ya era muy tarde, estaba muy abrumada, al punto que casi lloro, “me deja controlar por el estrés y la ansiedad”, pensando que no ya no estaría con mi familia en fin de año, pero mi pareja hablo con ese señor y acepto el dinero teníamos más productos de comida, que llevábamos.

<center>Llegamos a Punta de Mata ya de noche, sin dinero, sin alimentos, solo nos quedó llamar a mi Suegra para que nos esperaba en la parada para que nos pagara el pasaje de Punta de Mata hacia El Tejero.</center>

Ya con esta experiencia vivida en las **Navidades pasada,** decidí con tiempo planificar y organizar lo que seria ese 31 de diciembre, empezando hable con un taxista para que nos hiciera el viaje, pero además para compartir el costo del servicio, hable con dos compañeros de trabajo de quienes escuche que también que tenían que viajar ese mismo día, de esa manera ya tenía el carro y mas pasajeros listos; esta vez fue todo más sencillo, les pedí que llevaran sus cosas, bolsos y maletas todo bien organizado para el trabajo de una vez; salimos a las 5 de la tarde, igual que el año anterior, pero ya mi pareja estaba con el esperándonos en el taxista estacionamiento, y partimos cada quien a nuestro destino.
Mi fórmula para controlar el estrés este año que paso y no volverme a sentir agobiada, fue usar el tiempo a nuestro favor, para planear la opción más viable y económica para viajar ese día, y luego de eso, organizar todo bien para que dicho plan se ejecute de la mejor manera, para la mayor comodidad de nosotros y también del taxista.
