Hola mis amigos, espero que estén muy bien, estos días me ha dado por recordar esos momentos inolvidables para mí y uno de esos recuerdos, fue el primer viaje de **“ANIVERSARIO”** con mi pareja, destino **“CARIPE”;** fueron momentos muy especiales, en esa hermosa localidad turística, el cual se disfrutó más por ser nuestro aniversario, además era nuestra primera visita para los dos a ese lugar, fue perfecto, porque así como hoy, cuando hablemos de **"CARIPE",** es también hablar de esa fecha importante para ambos.

##### <center> Un Poco de su Historia</center>
**CARIPE** es una localidad muy hermosa ubicada en el Estado Monagas, apodada **“EL JARDÍN DE ORIENTE”**, por su clima frió, que hace que la vegetación sea abundante, es muy conocido por ser un territorio montañoso, y porque también está muy cerca de la famosa **“CUEVA DE GUACHARO”,** por esa razón entrando al poblado se encuentra un monumento en honor al **GUACHARO,** a las afueras se encuentran numerosas cabañas para los turistas, en una de ellas nos quedamos; aunque no fuimos a estos lugares que mencionare, personas muy amables nos dieron buenas referencias de ellos, que en su momento visitaremos:

Nos hablaron de dos Iglesias las cuales poseen mucha historia, una de ella construida en los años 70 al muy estilo Californiano llamada **“la Iglesia del Santo Ángel Custodio”** y otra que lleva por nombre **“La Iglesia Anglicana de Teresén”** la cual posee un juego de campanas donado nada más y nada menos que por la **“Reina Isabel II”**.

También nos dijeron que en lo que volviéramos a ir, visitáramos **“El Mirador de Caripe”** que por su altura tendríamos una hermosa vista de la localidad y sus alrededores, por último nos hablaron de **“El Cerro Negro”**, que está a las afuera, que es muy hermoso, con la montaña mas alta que llega a las nubes, con un rió con aguas claras y cristalinas, cuevas, entre otras cosas naturales, todo para pasar una experiencia inolvidable, pero por ser un lugar muy amplio, se necesita un guía profesional.

Este viaje se dio a finales de mis vacaciones laborales, en el mes de abril de este año; ya quedando pocos días para regresar al trabajo, mi pareja y yo cumplimos tres años de estar juntos; estaban las ganas de ir a **CARIPE** desde hace ya un tiempo, era el momento, sin pensarlo mas, buscamos por Internet información, de como llegar y donde hospedarnos, así que llamamos para reservar una habitación y nos organizamos para el viaje.
##### DÍA 1: NUESTRO VIAJE COMIENZA
Llenos de alegría, llegamos al terminar de Maturin para tomar el bus que nos llevaría a nuestro destino, **"un lugar hermoso y maravilloso, para pasar un inolvidable aniversario"**; estábamos emocionados y un poco nerviosos, todo seria nuevo para nosotros, no solo **CARIPE**, sino también el camino, porque serian un poco mas de tres horas de viaje, tendríamos mucho que ver y conocer; el autobús empezó a andar, y así dio comienzo a nuestra nueva aventura.

El viaje fue agradable, pasamos por diversos poblados que están en el camino, después de dos horas en carretera, llegamos a un pueblo que se llama **Guanaguana**, donde se monto un joven al autobús vendiendo **chicharrón**, enseguida mi pareja muy emocionado compro una bolsita, *"me dijo que se emociono porque tenia mucho tiempo sin comer **chicharrón**"*, le trajo mucho recuerdos; seguimos vía arriba, **literal**, a partir de ese pueblo todo el camino fue un poco inclinado, ya que **CARIPE** queda en un zona montañosa.
Fue entonces que cuando vimos por primera vez tantas montañas juntas, un hermoso camino de flores, un lindo Burro, era un paisaje como ninguno, no pude dejar de ver y tomar fotos. **😍**

Ya llegando, nos muestra desde la entrada que es una localidad llena de historia, notamos que es una población que no ha perdido su cultura y tradición, a pesar de ser un lugar frió, por su altitud, sentimos la calidez que trasmite **CARIPE**, pudo haber sido por lo emocionados que estábamos **😏**.
Disculpen la calidad de estas fotos, el autobús iba un poco rápido y no pude enfocar bien **😢**.

Luego de pasar la entrada de **CARIPE**, nos vimos las caras mi pareja y yo, porque no conocíamos el lugar, pero le pedimos al colector del autobús que nos ayudara a ubicarnos, muy amable tanto él como el chófer, se detuvieron justo al frente de la **"FLORESTA"**; cabaña donde nos quedaríamos, al bajarnos vimos el letrero con su nombre; la entrada era como de una **finca**, de solo mirar un poco hacia adentro, notamos que era un lugar amplio, muy distintas a las demás cabañas cercanas a esta, me entro mucha curiosidad de ver como era todo por dentro y que había ademas de las cabañas y habitaciones.

Al entrar caminamos poco a poco, era todo muy hermoso y natural, con un camino un poco largo, hasta un pequeño puente había, por debajo de el pasa un riachuelo, el agua es muy clara y cristalina; ya estaba sintiendo frió y no teníamos ni una hora de haber llegado, primera vez que estábamos en un lugar con un clima tan frió del cual no estaba muy acostumbrada porque el clima de Maturin es muy cálido, pero al pasar el puente y ver todo por dentro por un rato olvide el frió que estaba sintiendo, que lugar tan bello, un verde muy natural.

Estando dentro y después de ver todo a nuestro alrededor, fuimos rápido a recepción para lo de la reservación, para así poder disfrutar de todo este hermoso lugar, allí nos explicaron sus normas y reglamentos, luego nos entregaron las llaves de la habitación, estando en ella, abrimos la puerta, era una habitación muy acogedora y linda.

Ya teniendo nuestras cosas organizadas, nos pusimos cómodos y salimos a explorar y conocer, es un excelente lugar para compartir con tu pareja, hijos, familia y amigos, ademas de habitaciones, tiene cabañas familiares, un gran campo, lugares donde sentarnos, parquecito para niños, piscina, es un lugar como para no querer salir, sabiendo que **CAPIRE** tiene mas que ofrecer; caminamos todo primero, pero como pretendíamos quedarnos solo ese día y regresar a Maturin al día siguiente, apresuramos el paso, para luego meternos en la piscina **😉**.

Ya eran las tres de la tarde, nos cambiamos para estar en la piscina un rato, recuerdo que en reglamento decía que se podía estar hasta las cinco de la tarde, nos quejamos entre nosotros mismo porque tendríamos poquito tiempo; le preguntamos a uno de los encargados que andaba por el área de la piscina, si podríamos quedarnos mas tiempo y nos dijo: **"si hasta que aguanten",** eso nos alegro, pero cuando nos metimos en ella, **DIOS** que agua tan fría, era difícil estar en ella y mas nadar o simplemente moverse con libertad, no aguantamos mucho y nos salimos, en ese momento entendimos la respuesta del encargado **😄**.

Como nos salimos algo pronto de la piscina, decidimos alistarnos e ir al pueblo, para conocer mas de la localidad y el monumento al **GUACHARO**; en el camino recordé que un amigo y compañero de trabajo que es nativo de **CARIPE**, el cual me ha hablado con anterioridad que su **PADRE** tiene un negocio familiar llamado **EL RINCÓN DE WALTER**, donde venden las mejores **fresas con crema de CARIPE**; lo llame para que nos diera la dirección, y así poder probarlas, el camino se hizo un poco largo, caminamos un poco mas de treinta minutos, pero teniendo como guía a mi amigo, logramos llegar, nos dijo que su hermano nos estaba esperando, al ver como era el lugar, me gusto mucho.

Entramos un poco tímidos, y le preguntamos al muchacho que estaba allí, si era el hermano de mi amigo, él primero bromeo con no conocerlo, pero al momento dijo que si era su hermano y que ademas estaba en contacto con él en ese instante preguntando si ya habíamos llegado; nos recibió muy cordialmente, hablamos un poco de lugar, nos dijo que era un negocio familiar el cual tiene muchos años, actualmente se dedican a hacer **fresas con crema** y **vinos artesanales**; de los cuales nos dio a probar un **vino de arroz**, muy suave y sabroso, como también nos dio a probar otro **vino de jengibre**, muy bueno, sabroso y fuerte, que con un solo trago nos mareo un poco **😅**.
Después de marearnos un poco con el vino, tocaba las **fresas con crema**, al ver el envase, vimos que era suficiente como para dejar para la noche, le dije a mi pareja para comer y guardar, empezamos a comer, al llegar a la mitad, el muchacho nos dijo que si queríamos mas, y nosotros **"POR SUPUESTO"**, comiendo y hablando, nos acabamos todo el envase, no dejamos nada; estaban muy deliciosas, sabrosas, se quedaron cortos en decir que son las mejores de **CARIPE**, van mas allá, porque de todas las que he comido, estas han sido las mas ricas.

No dejen de visitar **EL RINCÓN DE WALTER**, cuando vayan a **CARIPE**, excelente trato, personas muy amables, con las **fresas con crema** mas deliciosas y los mejores **vinos artesanales**, estuvimos un rato mas, el muchacho nos hablo mas de **CARIPE** y nos oriento que camino seguir para llegar al monumento del **GUACHARO**, y al pueblo; así nos despedimos de él y de ese acogedor y buen lugar.

Seguimos nuestro camino, después de un rato caminando, vimos a lo lejos el monumento; sentimos emoción, porque era la primera vez que lo veíamos, al llegar estuvimos un rato allí, tomamos fotos, luego nos sentamos cerca a comer unos ricos helados y ver lo alegre que estaba el lugar, habían personas también disfrutando y pasando un momento en familia **😊**; el señor de los helados nos hablo de distintos lugares que visitar ademas de este, solo que ya era algo tarde.

Ya eran las seis de la tarde, debíamos comprar comida y regresar, queríamos quedarnos mas tiempo, pero estábamos algo lejos de la cabaña y sin un vehículo es algo difícil andar y mas cuando apenas estas conociendo el lugar **😐**; llegamos a un **Restaurant** con un lindo aspecto, tanto mirar para terminar comprando perros calientes y hamburguesas **😄**.

Era hora de marchar y regresar a la cabaña, nos toco despedirnos sin querer hacerlo de ese lindo lugar, pero el camino era un poco largo, así que luego de un **adiós** **😢**, emprendimos nuestra caminata.

Ya estando cerca de la cabaña, nos paramos en un pequeño abasto a descansar un poco y tomarnos algo para la sed **😉**.
Llegamos a la cabaña, entramos a la habitación, cenamos, estuvimos afuera solo un rato, hacia demasiado frió, pero había que disfrutar del lugar, porque ya el día estaba acabando, era aceptable sentirme algo desanimada, y fue en ese momento cuando mi pareja me dijo, **"nos quedaremos un día mas, un solo día no es suficiente para disfrutar de todo esto"**, olvide que me sentía desanimada, mi humor cambio, era feliz en ese instante **😍**; él fue a hablar en recepción, para conservar la habitación por un día mas, regreso, para descansar y recargar energías para el día siguiente; así termino nuestro primer día en **CARIPE**.

##### <center> A Little of its History</center>
**CARIPE** is a very beautiful town located in the State of Monagas, nicknamed **"THE GARDEN OF THE EAST "**, for its cold climate, which makes the vegetation is abundant, is well known for being a mountainous territory, and because it is also very close to the famous **" CAVE OF GUACHARO ",** for that reason entering the town is a monument in honor of the **GUACHARO,** on the outskirts are numerous cabins for tourists, in one of them we stayed; although we did not go to these places that I will mention, very kind people gave us good references of them, that in its moment we will visit:

They told us about two churches which have a lot of history, one of them built in the 70's in a very Californian style called **"The Church of the Holy Guardian Angel "** and another one called **"The Anglican Church of Teresén "** which has a set of bells donated by none other than **"Queen Isabel II "**.

They also told us to visit **"The Caripe lookout"** when we went there again, because of its height we would have a beautiful view of the town and its surroundings, finally they told us about **"The Black Hill"**, which is outside, which is very beautiful, with the highest mountain that reaches the clouds, with a river with crystal clear waters, caves, among other natural things, everything to spend an unforgettable experience, but because it is a very large place, you need a professional guide.

This trip took place at the end of my working vacation, in the month of April of this year; with only a few days left to return to work, my partner and I had been together for three years; we wanted to go to **CARIPE** for some time, it was time, without thinking about it, we searched the Internet for information on how to get there and where to stay, so we called to book a room and we organized ourselves for the trip.
##### DAY 1: OUR JOURNEY BEGINS
Full of joy, we arrived at the end of Maturin to take the bus that would take us to our destination, **"a beautiful and wonderful place, to spend an unforgettable anniversary "**; we were excited and a little nervous, everything would be new for us, not only **CARIPE**, but also the road, because it would be a little more than three hours of travel, we would have much to see and know; the bus began to walk, and so began our new adventure.

The trip was pleasant, we passed through several villages that are on the road, after two hours on the road, we arrived at a town called **Guanaguana**, where a young man got on the bus selling **chicharrón**, immediately my partner very excited bought a bag, *"he told me that he got excited because he had a long time without eating **chicharrón**"*, it brought back a lot of memories; we continued up the road, **literally**, from that town the whole road was a bit steep, since **CARIPE** is in a mountainous area.
It was then that when we saw for the first time so many mountains together, a beautiful path of flowers, a beautiful donkey, it was a landscape like no other, I could not stop looking and taking pictures **😍**.

Upon arrival, it shows us from the entrance that it is a town full of history, we noticed that it is a town that has not lost its culture and tradition, despite being a cold place, because of its altitude, we felt the warmth that transmits **CARIPE**, it could have been because we were so excited **😏**.

After passing the entrance of **CARIPE**, my partner and I saw each other's faces, because we did not know the place, but we asked the bus driver to help us find our way, he and the driver were very kind, they stopped right in front of **"FLORESTA "**; the cabin where we would stay, when we got off we saw the sign with its name; the entrance was like a **farm**, just looking inside, we noticed that it was a spacious place, very different from the other cabins near this one, I was very curious to see how everything was inside and what was there besides the cabins and rooms.

When we entered we walked little by little, it was all very beautiful and natural, with a long road, until a small bridge, underneath there was a stream, the water is very clear and crystalline; I was already feeling cold and we had not even an hour of having arrived, first time we were in a place with such a cold climate which I was not very used to because the climate of Maturin is very warm, but when we passed the bridge and see everything inside for a while I forgot the cold I was feeling, what a beautiful place, a very natural green.

Being inside and after seeing everything around us, we went quickly to the reception for the reservation, so we could enjoy all this beautiful place, there they explained their rules and regulations, then they gave us the keys to the room, being in it, we opened the door, it was a very cozy and nice room.

Already having our things organized, we got comfortable and went out to explore and learn, is an excellent place to share with your partner, children, family and friends, in addition to rooms, has family cabins, a large field, places to sit, playground for children, pool, is a place like not wanting to leave, knowing that **CAPIRE** has more to offer, we walked all first, but as we intended to stay only that day and return to Maturin the next day, we hurried the pace, and then get into the pool **😉**.

It was already three in the afternoon, we changed to be in the pool for a while, I remember that the rules said that we could stay until five in the afternoon, we complained among ourselves because we would have little time; we asked one of the managers who was around the pool area, if we could stay longer and he told us: **"yes, until you hold on",** that made us happy, but when we got into it, **GOD** what a cold water, it was difficult to be in it and even more difficult to swim or just move freely, we could not hold on: **"yes until you hold out",** that made us happy, but when we got into it, **GOD** what a cold water, it was difficult to be in it and more difficult to swim or just move freely, we did not hold out much and we got out, at that moment we understood the manager's answer **😄**.

As we got out of the pool a little early, we decided to get ready and go to town, to learn more about the town and the monument to **GUACHARO**; on the way I remembered that a friend and co-worker who is a native of **CARIPE**, which has told me previously that his **FATHER** has a family business called **EL RINCÓN DE WALTER**, where they sell the best **CARIPE strawberries with cream**; I called him to give us the address, so we could try them, the road was a little long, we walked a little more than thirty minutes, but having my friend as a guide, we got there, he told us that his brother was waiting for us, to see how the place was, I liked it a lot.

We entered a little shy, and asked the guy who was there, if he was the brother of my friend, he first joked that he did not know him, but at the time he said that he was his brother and that he was in contact with him at that moment asking if we had arrived; He received us very cordially, we talked a little bit about the place, he told us that it was a family business which has many years, currently they are dedicated to make **strawberries with cream** and **artisanal wines**; of which he gave us to taste a **rice wine**, very soft and tasty, as he also gave us to taste another **ginger wine**, very good, tasty and strong, that with just one drink made us a little dizzy. **😅**.
After getting a little dizzy with the wine, it was time to eat the **strawberries with cream**, when we saw the package, we saw that it was enough to leave for the night, I told my partner to eat and save, we started eating, when we reached half, the boy told us if we wanted more, and we **"OF COURSE "**, eating and talking, we finished the whole package, we did not leave anything; they were very delicious, tasty, they were short in saying that they are the best of **CARIPE**, they go beyond, because of all the ones I have eaten, these have been the tastiest.

Do not fail to visit **EL RINCÓN DE WALTER**, when you go to **CARIPE**, excellent treatment, very kind people, with the most delicious **strawberries with cream** and the best **craft wines**, we stayed a while longer, the boy told us more about **CARIPE** and guided us which way to go to get to the monument of **GUACHARO**, and the town; so we said goodbye to him and that cozy and good place.

We continued on our way, after a while walking, we saw the monument in the distance; we felt excited, because it was the first time we saw it, when we arrived we were there for a while, we took pictures, then we sat nearby to eat some delicious ice cream and see how happy the place was, there were people also enjoying and having a family time **😊**; the ice cream man told us about different places to visit besides this, only that it was a little late.

It was already six o'clock in the evening, we had to buy food and go back, we wanted to stay longer, but we were a bit far from the cabin and without a vehicle it is difficult to walk and even more when you are just getting to know the place **😐**; we arrived at a **Restaurant** with a nice look, so much to look at to end up buying hot dogs and hamburgers **😄**.

It was time to leave and return to the cabin, we had to say goodbye to this beautiful place, but the road was a bit long, so after a **goodbye** **😢**, we started our walk.

Once we were close to the cabin, we stopped at a small grocery store to rest for a while and have a drink to quench our thirst **😉**.
We arrived at the cabin, we went into the room, we had dinner, we were outside just for a while, it was too cold, but we had to enjoy the place, because the day was ending, it was acceptable to feel a little discouraged, and it was at that moment when my partner told me, **"we will stay one more day, one day is not enough to enjoy all this "**, I forgot that I felt discouraged, my mood changed, I was happy at that moment **😍**; he went to talk to reception, to keep the room for one more day, he came back, to rest and recharge energies for the next day; that was the end of our first day in **CARIPE**.
