Hola mis queridos amigos de **HIVE,** feliz miércoles para todos, espero que se encuentren muy bien; anoche vi la película **“The Whale”,** tenía muchas ganas de verla desde que supe que **“Brendan Fraser”,** sería el protagonista, creando muchas expectativas en todos, por cómo se venía dando su carrera en el cine, pero no decepciono; es una gran y excelente producción, muy emotiva su historia, de principio a fin la disfrute, me causo muchas sensaciones, logro desestabilizar mis emociones; ya vi porque se ganó tres premios Oscar y muchos más, la recomiendo mucho, no dejen de verla.

Nos muestran a **Charlie “Brendan Fraser”,** es un profesor de literatura, dictando un taller online a un grupo de estudiantes, pero con el pequeño detalle que su cámara está apagada, a lo que el alega que está descompuesta, pero la realidad es que no quieren que lo vean, ya que es una persona con obesidad extrema.

Al verlo me dio tanta tristeza, porque Charlie es un reflejo de lo que padecen muchas personas, he tenido la oportunidad de ver muchos casos de personas con sobrepeso, en un programa de televisión llamado **“My 600-lb Life”** mejor conocido en Latinoamerica como **“Kilos Mortales”,** donde el **Dr. Nowzaradan,** ayuda a personas con obesidad extrema, los casos que he visto la mayoría son fuertes, ya que son personas llegan a esa condición por problemas que vienen teniendo desde años atrás, y más cuando son de autoestima baja y depresivos, solo encuentran aliviar su pena comiendo, pero a no lograr satisfacer su estado de ánimo siguen comiendo hasta que ya casi es demasiado tarde.

Digo “casi”, porque nunca es demasiado tarde, pero cuando tenemos voluntad propia en salir de una condición que perjudique nuestra salud, sin excusas y justificaciones; es triste verlos llegar a este estado, ya que ponen sus vidas en riesgo, desde que vengo viendo este programa varios han muerto por rendirse y entregarse nuevamente a la comida.
Ver esta película me hizo recordar parte de cada historia real vista, personas padeciendo de obesidad provocada por una situación depresiva, que si no son atendidos a tiempo, mueren; Charlie sabiendo esto aun así no quiso ser atendido, prefirió intentar reparar su relación con su hija y a su vez ayudarla, ya que al ver sus redes sociales, noto que estaba pasando por una dura etapa, era una adolescente rebelde, llena de resentimiento, por causa de sus Padres, por como termino su matrimonio y por como su Padre se alejó de ella, para desaparecer casi por completo de su vida; fueron actos que Ellie le reprocho en casi toda la película.

En transcurso de la película nos van contando el motivo del por qué Charlie llego a esa obesidad extrema, todo gracias a la depresión causada por la muerte de su Pareja Alan, quien se quita la vida por depresión ocasionada por el rechazo de su Padre por su inclinación sexual; conecte mucho con esto, porque tengo un buen amigo, que paso por algo parecido, al confesarle a sus padres sus preferencias sexuales, de inmediato lo rechazaron y lo corrieron, cayó en una gran depresión, pero en vez de echarse a morir, decidió vivir, y buscar en amigos ese apoyo que tanto necesitaba, así lo conocí, hoy en día recupero esa buena relación con su Madre, pero su Padre aun lo rechaza.

En el caso de Ellie es entendible su comportamiento rebelde por todo lo que paso y esta pasando, pero en el fondo es muy inteligente y buena persona, así lo demostrara de la manera más extraña, como cuando ayudo a Thomas a volver a casa de sus Padres, pero creo que su primera intención, era proteger a su Padre de una persona que lo visitaba a base de mentiras, ocultando quien realmente es y cuales eran sus posibles verdaderas intenciones.

A diferencia a de la Madre de Ellie que la daba como caso perdido y un ser lleno de maldad, Charlie si veía en ella lo que de verdad es, y fue algo que pudo ver en cuestión de días, una niña que sufre por dentro, por la vida que la ha tocado vivir, y en vez de buscar respuestas, lo que hace es buscar algo en que drenar todo eso que siente, pero en el fondo esconde lo que un día fue y que aún es, solo que dejo bien oculto, para no salir lastimada nuevamente.

Quien me cayó bien y un poco mal a la vez fue Liz, sé que sufrió mucho, primero por la pérdida de Alan quien era su hermano, y porque sabía que Charlie estaba por morir también, le toco vivir esa dura situación dos veces, pero me daba rabia que si eres enfermera, sabes que darle esa cantidad de comida aceleraría esa muerte que tanto querías evitar para Charlie, porque ser su facilitadora, en llevarle y darle tanta comida rápida y llena de tantas calorías, no es lo mas saludable para él.

Al final cuando vi a Charlie tan desesperado, me desespera también, no quería que muriera, pero era inevitable, verlo llorar, diciéndole a su hija todo lo que pensaba de ella, pidiéndole que leerá ese ensayo hecho por ella misma a los 8 años, ensayo que Charlie siempre leía para tranquilizar su corazón cuando le dada esos ataques cardíacos; pero así como a él, también me paso a mí, cuando Ellie empezó a leer me fui calmando a medida que Charlie se fue calmando también, fue una escena muy sentida, muy cargada de sentimientos, y cuando Charlie uso todo lo que le quedaba de vida, para levantarse e ir a donde estaba su hija, me partió el corazón y a su vez me alegre cuando Ellie se acercó a él con una sonría, en ese momento supe que lo amaba, que ese odio y ese rencor desapareció de ella, de esa manera Charlie se fue de este mundo en paz, tranquilo y feliz.

Para terminar, he visto muchas críticas negativas hacia la película y el actor, con la etiqueta de **“Gordofofia”,** por **DIOS santo,** la obesidad es una enfermedad y muy grave, que le ha costado la vida a personas que por simplemente sentirse solos caen en depresión dependiendo su situación emocional, y se refugian en la comida, y no paran de comer pensando que así se sentirán mejor, pero no, es todo lo contrario, la depresión aumenta y las ganas de comer también, provocando la obesidad y por ende la muerte; en vez de hacer campañas en contra de la película, hagan un gesto humado con campañas para ayudar a estas personas que tanto necesitan una mano amiga, ser gordito es una cosa, pero la obesidad es otra y muy diferente.
