El mejor consejo me lo dieron mis padres no solo en palabras sino también con acciones. Ellos siempre  tuvieron disposición para hablarme y describir la importancia de prepararme para el futuro. En la época en que nací y  el contexto donde me crié favoreció mi crecimiento como profesional. Recuerdo que no eran momentos de avances educativos, aunque al decir verdad Venezuela históricamente   ha sido pobre en propuestas educativas, era complejo entrar a la universidad por todo el protocolo que y exigencias con las cuales se debía cumplir. Pensar en educación privada no era tampoco la opción. Aún así, en medio de dificultades y posibles carencias, mis padres se dedicaron a ofrecerme las mejores opciones y consejos para continuar estudios y con ello una profesión. Soy educadora, amo la carrera que escogí ... valoro los consejos de mis padres por siempre y para siempre.

The best advice my parents gave me was not only in words but also in actions. They were always willing to talk to me and describe the importance of preparing for the future. At the time I was born and the context where I grew up favored my growth as a professional. I remember that these were not moments of educational advancement, although to tell the truth Venezuela has historically been poor in educational proposals, it was complex to enter the university because of all the protocol and demands that had to be fulfilled. Thinking about private education was not an option either. Even so, in the midst of difficulties and possible shortcomings, my parents dedicated themselves to offering me the best options and advice to continue my studies and with it a profession. I am an educator, I love the career I chose ... I value my parents' advice forever and ever.</div>

Hola buenos días: después de mucho tiempo, por aquí vuelo.  No os olvido. 
Tuviste la suerte de tener unos buenos padres y seguirles el consejo. 
Por aquella época, por lo menos en España, los padres se esforzaban al máximo en conseguir que sus hijos tuvieran  estudios. Incluso para ellos era muy importante que tuviéramos una carrera. Hicieron grandes sacrificios para conseguirlo y, en tu casa tuvieron un feliz resultado. Enhorabuena!
