Greetings friends of this beautiful community, lovers of threads and needles, I wish you a happy Monday and an excellent week full of blessings; There are only a few days left until my nephew Aarón turns six months old; how fast the days go by, most of his clothes are very tight and some don't even fit, so I have been sewing various sports outfits for him, I think he is growing very fast and so he can wear the clothes for a long time I have chosen to sew sizes between 2 and 4 depending on the model of the flannel; On this occasion I share with you the elaboration of a size 2 sports suit for my dear Aaron.

Saludos amigos de esta hermosa comunidad amantes de los hilos y la agujas, les deseo feliz lunes y una excelente semana llena de bendiciones; ya faltan pocos días para que mi sobrino Aarón, cumpla seis meses; que rápido pasan los días, la mayoría de su ropa le queda muy ajustada y algunas incluso no le entran, por ello he estado cosiendo varios conjuntos deportivos para él, creo que está creciendo muy rápido y para que pueda usar la ropa por un tiempo prolongado  he optado por coser tallas entre la 2 y 4 dependiendo el modelo de la franela; en esta ocasión comparto con ustedes la elaboración de un  mono deportivo talla 2  para mi querido Aarón.

Once the pieces were cut, I faced right to right the front and back of the jumpsuit, pinned and joined the shot with straight stitch, I also sewed the strips to decorate the jumpsuit, the idea was to glue two vertical strips on each leg, after observing I realized that it looked very heavy and decided to place small diagonal strips on each leg.

Cortadas las piezas, enfrenté derecho con derecho la parte trasera y delantera del mono, sujeté con alfileres y uní el tiro con puntada recta, cosí además las tiras para decorar el mono, la idea era pegar dos tiras verticales en cada pierna, luego de observar me di cuenta que se veía muy cargado y decidí colocar pequeñas tiras diagonales en cada pierna.

I love that yellow!  I like that you added the blue contrast pieces to the pants, it looks really neat.  At first sight I thought those strips were jean fabric.

It seems working with this type of material would be challenging but you sure pulled it off well.  Nice finished work ~ 😉

Greetings @crosheille, I am very happy with the result, micro melagne is a soft and easy-to-sew fabric characterized by a gray background and some Mickey, polka dots and stars designs.

It can be combined with the different types of micro peach, besides the texture is soft and the perfect elongation for many garments. The yellow color goes very well with this Mickey design.

Hola @mariela-b , la tela micro durazno es muy fresca, especial para la temporada de calor que estamos pasando, estoy segura que mi sobrino estará fresco con el mono, inicialmente iba a combinar rojo con gris, luego me decidí por amarillo y quedó muy bien.
