# Behind-the-scenes for a Sports video!!!

________

Hello my dear friends of the Liketu community! This is the first time that I present a *Behind the Scenes*. This time I will invite you to see a little bit how the room looks like, and I will also tell you how I do to record a Yoga or other physical activity video, as will be my next delivery for Hive.

In my case, a video like this usually takes me 2 to 4 days, since one day I shoot, another day I edit the video and another day I put together the publication. If I did this in a single day (sometimes I do it too), I would be talking about 6 hours between filming and editing. 

In my case, when I work so many hours in a row on the same project, I end up getting tired, and the energy I put at the end of the process is very different from the beginning, so I don't end up feeling satisfied with the result.

What I do first is to clear the place where I am going to do the activity, and then I place the computer with the camera. Until very recently, I filmed with my cell phone, but now I have bought a Logitech BRIO camera for this, since it started to become complicated to keep all the videos in the phone's memory, soon I will make a review of it, for those who are interested in acquiring new resources to improve their content in Hive.

I then set up whatever I'm going to use: yoga mat, blocks, dumbbells, whatever, then set up the computer and start filming.

## What to keep in mind when filming?

______

Well the most obvious, but in my experience the hardest thing to achieve, is to get the whole body showing when you're standing up. Sometimes you have to zoom the camera out too far and add a proper zoom in your settings to get the full body showing but at the same time to maintain good image quality.

It is quite important to avoid any ambient noise that is disturbing to the viewer: car horns, screaming children, barking dogs, background voices, unclear background music. Therefore, I recommend that you set aside a time of day for your video when you know the environment will be as quiet as possible. Sometimes those noises come from outside your house, and you can't avoid it. In my case, I have to shoot before 9 am, because after that the noise from my neighbors comes into my house and can be heard. Particularly on this occasion, I filmed at noon with some pretty loud music that I had left in the living room, to see if I could keep it in the video. If it doesn't play well, I'll have to delete it.

However, there are times when you know you will take out the sound and add a voice-over, in which case, it makes no difference when you shoot, although you will have to consider the issue of light (unless you are using artificial light).

Light is another important factor to take into account when filming! Sometimes, according to what camera we are using, the quality can be better or not. Daylight is always the most recommendable, and if you are indoors, the best thing to do is to point the lens with a lamp.

# Detrás de escena para un video de Deportes!!

________

Hola mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de Liketu! Esta es la primera vez que presento un *Detrás de escena*. Esta vez los invitaré a ver un poco cómo se ve la sala, y además les contaré cómo hago yo para grabar un video de Yoga o de otra actividad física, como será mi próxima entrega para Hive.

En mi caso, un video de estos suele tomarme de 2 a 4 días, ya que un día filmo, otro día edito el video y otro día armo la publicación. Si hiciera esto en una sola jornada (en ocasiones también lo hago), estaría hablando de alrededor de 6 horas entre filmación y edición. 

En mi caso, cuando trabajo tantas horas seguidas en un mismo proyecto, termino ñora cansarme, y la energía que coloco al final del proceso, es muy diferente a la del inicio, por lo que no termino por sentirme conforme con el resultado.

Lo que primero hago, es despejar el lugar en donde voy a hacer la actividad, y luego coloco la computadora con la cámara. Hasta hace muy poquito, filmaba con mi celular, pero ahora he comprado una cámara Logitech BRIO para esto, ya que empezó a hacerse complicado mantener todos los videos en la memoria del teléfono, en breve voy a hacer una reseña de la misma, para quienes estén interesados en adquirir nuevos recursos para mejorar su contenido en Hive.

Posteriormente acomodo lo que sea que vaya a utilizar: el yoga mat, bloques, mancuernas, lo que sea, para luego configurar la computadora y empezar la filmación.

## ¿Qué hay que tener en cuenta al momento de filmar?

______

Pues lo más evidente pero en mi experiencia lo más difícil de lograr, es que se vea todo el cuerpo cuando estás de pie. A veces hay que alejar demasiado la cámara y agregar un zoom adecuado en su configuración para que se vea el cuerpo completo pero al mismo tiempo para mantener la buena calidad de la imagen.

Es bastante importante evitar cualquier ruido de ambiente que resulte molesto para el espectador: bocinas de autos, niños gritando, ladridos de perros, voces de fondo, música poco clara de fondo. Por ello te recomiendo que destines para tu video, un momento del día en el que sepas que el entorno estará lo más calmo posible. A veces esos ruidos vienen de fuera de tu casa, y no puedes evitarlo. En mi caso, debo filmar antes de las 9 am, porque después entra el ruido de mis vecinos a mi casa y se escucha. Particularmente en esta ocasión, grabé al mediodía con música bastante fuerte que había dejado en la sala, para ver si podía mantenerla en el video. Si no se escucha bien, la tendré que eliminar.

Sin embargo, hay ocasiones en las que sabes que sacarás el sonido y agragarás una voz en off, en ese caso, es indistinto cuándo filmes, aunque sí que tendrás que tener en cuenta el tema de la luz (salvo que uses luz artificial).

La luz es otro factor bastante importante a tener en cuenta al momento de filmar! A veces, de acuerdo a qué cámara estemos ocupando, la calidad puede ser mejor o no. Siempre la luz del día es la más recomendable, y si estás dentro de casa, lo mejor es que apuntes al objetivo con alguna lámpara.
