# Ven a intentar este Trekking en el Cerro de la Cruz, San Luis, Argentina

Hola mis queridos amigos de Full Deportes y de Hive, en este día me los llevo a pasear por el Cerro de la Cruz, en la provincia de San Luis, Argentina. En el video les comento bastante sobre la salida, pero por aquí aprovecharé para dar algunos consejos en caso de que deseen hacer senderismo en un cerro en el cual no hay un camino armado, sino que deben medio escalar al tiempo que se desplazan.

En verdad no es un lugar en el que propiamente escalamos, y habían diferentes caminos que conducían hacia la cima del cerro, pero ninguno de ellos era claro, estaban con muchas rocas y demasiado ripio, lo cual podía generar que uno se resbalara.

Además, en la mayoría de los sectores, solo entraban tus dos pies, un mal paso podía significar una buena caída. Como no estoy acostumbrada a este tipo de trekking, este me ayudó a aprender bastante. Veamos qué haría la próxima vez y qué puede serte de utilidad.

Hello my dear friends from Full Deportes and Hive, today I'm taking you for a walk in the Cerro de la Cruz, in the province of San Luis, Argentina. In the video I tell you a lot about the outing, but here I will take the opportunity to give some tips in case you want to hike on a hill where there is not an armed path, but you have to half climb as you go.

Actually it is not a place where we actually climbed, and there were different paths leading to the top of the hill, but none of them were clear, they were with many rocks and too much gravel, which could cause you to slip.

Also, in most of the sectors, you could only fit your two feet, a wrong step could mean a good fall. Since I am not used to this kind of trekking, this one helped me learn a lot. Let's see what I would do next time and what can be useful for you.

## Consejos para hacer senderismo en sectores montañosos sin sendero allanado

**Calzado**

Que tenga un buen agarre en la suela. Las zapatillas para correr no son recomendables porque están hechas para amortiguar el golpe en el asfalto y su suela no tiene las ranuras suficientes para “trepar” sobre el terreno.

**Agua**

Lleva bastante agua para mantenerte hidratado. Este trekking aparentemente toma 3 horas, nosotras hicimos 1:20 en total por el horario, pero para 3 horas de caminata, unos 2 litros de agua serían suficientes.

**Frutos secos**

En este caso recomendaría llevar frutos secos porque pesan muy poco, tienen bastantes calorías y lo más importante es que cuentan con los nutrientes necesarios para aportar al cuerpo durante esta actividad.

**Horario**

No elijas un horario que se acerque a la noche en un trekking así salvo que conozcas muy bien el camino, pues al no estar señalizado y no haber una ruta marcada, corres el riesgo de perderte en el cerro, y no quieres que llegue la noche si no sabes cómo volver a la ciudad.

**Disfruta**

Un trekking con cierta dificultad (este cerro es sencillo en la categoría de complejidad de senderismo, pero a mí me pareció desafiante, en especial porque no tenía el calzado adecuado y me resbalaba mucho) puede asustar, pero lo más importante es disfrutarlo y hacerlo con calma. No hay apuro por llegar a la cima, y aunque se siente como un logro, tampoco tienes que llegar si las condiciones no son las adecuadas.

**Shoes**

Good grip on the sole. Running shoes are not recommended because they are made to cushion the shock on the asphalt and their sole does not have enough grooves to "climb" on the ground.

**Water**

Bring plenty of water to keep you hydrated. This trek apparently takes 3 hours, we did 1:20 total because of the schedule, but for 3 hours of hiking, about 2 liters of water would be enough.

**Nuts and dried fruit**

In this case I would recommend taking nuts because they weigh very little, have enough calories and the most important thing is that they have the necessary nutrients to provide the body during this activity.

**Timetable**

Do not choose a schedule that is close to night on a trek like this unless you know the trail very well, because since it is not signposted and there is no marked route, you run the risk of getting lost on the hill, and you do not want the night to come if you do not know how to get back to the city.

**Enjoy**

A trek with some difficulty (this hill is simple in the category of hiking complexity, but I found it challenging, especially because I did not have the right shoes and I slipped a lot) can be scary, but the most important thing is to enjoy it and do it calmly. There is no rush to get to the top, and although it feels like an accomplishment, you also don't have to get there if the conditions aren't right.

En este trekking puse muy en práctica un Niyama de Yoga, esto es lo que hay que cultivar. Se trata de Santosha, el contentamiento. Es estar feliz con lo que puedo hacer hoy y abrazarlo como una meta alcanzada. No pudimos llegar a la cima con Gaby porque estaba oscureciendo, pero la hora y 20 de caminata, fue excelente. 

Activamos bastante el cuerpo ya que transpiramos mucho, charlamos, nos desafiamos y contemplamos paisajes bellísimos de San Luis.

Este trekking aparentemente toma 3 horas, nosotras hicimos 1:20 en total por el horario, pero para 3 horas de caminata, unos 2 litros de agua serían suficientes.\r\n\r\n**Frutos secos**\r\n\r\nEn este caso recomendaría llevar frutos secos porque pesan muy poco, tienen bastantes calorías y lo más importante es que cuentan con los nutrientes necesarios para aportar al cuerpo durante esta actividad.\r\n\r\n**Horario**\r\n\r\nNo elijas un horario que se acerque a la noche en un trekking así salvo que conozcas muy bien el camino, pues al no estar señalizado y no haber una ruta marcada, corres el riesgo de perderte en el cerro, y no quieres que llegue la noche si no sabes cómo volver a la ciudad.\r\n\r\n**Disfruta**\r\n\r\nUn trekking con cierta dificultad (este cerro es sencillo en la categoría de complejidad de senderismo, pero a mí me pareció desafiante, en especial porque no tenía el calzado adecuado y me resbalaba mucho) puede asustar, pero lo más importante es disfrutarlo y hacerlo con calma. No hay apuro por llegar a la cima, y aunque se siente como un logro, tampoco tienes que llegar si las condiciones no son las adecuadas.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n</div>\r\n\r\n</div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"pull-left\">\r\n\r\n<div class=\"text-justify\">\r\n\r\n## Tips for hiking in mountainous areas without paved trails\r\n\r\n______\r\n\r\n**Shoes**\r\n\r\nGood grip on the sole. Creo que ya me estoy aprendiendo los lugares de Argentina gracias a ti 😂, te podría decir que te entiendo sobre subir un cerro donde gran parte de su camino es rocoso he inestable para caminar, recuerdo en mis tiempos mozos (sonando ya como un viejito) en donde subía algo parecido con mis primos, era lo peor, más de una caída me llevé 😅 y llegaba a mi casa con las rodillas, codos y manos hechos nada.

En grupo es una buena aventura ta y como dices temprano para que no los sorprenda la oscuridad, aunque en mi país están haciendo unos calores que solo viendo la vegetación de esa montaña me dio calor 🥵.

Muy buen trabajo, tanto el vídeo como las fotografías que decidiste sumarle también, éxitos y las suerte en una próxima excursión 🙏🏻.
