How Artificial Intelligence Has Affected The Educational System

The relevance of artificial intelligence has consumed us even more than we have realized. Artificial intelligence has started affecting almost every aspect of our lives and most people who live in highly technological regions can barely do a thing without involving artificial intelligence.

The educational sector has not been neglected, artificial intelligence has affected the educational system and has made the system of education more convenient for teachers, students and even the school management.

With the presence of artificial intelligence, tasks can get automated: Asides from classroom teaching, teachers are filled with the task of grading assignments and tests, writing out lesson plans and other things, this could take the entire work hour of the teacher as he tries to keep the students active and also stay up to date with other activities. The presence of an artificial intelligence called ‘turnitin’ could be used to mark essays and at the same time check for the presence of plagiarism, this will make it possible for the teacher to focus more on classroom activities rather that spending the entire day marking essays.

Not every student can cope with the space of classroom learning, some students obviously learn very slowly while other students learn fast, it will be unfair to slow down learning process for some students or speed up learning process for some. There is a tutoring system for artificial intelligence, this methods makes it possible for easy evaluation of student’s ability and provides alternative to methods of teaching that will aid the child’s learning ability. The software as well places essential focus on subject areas where the students finds difficult and it tutors the child according to the child’s learning pace.

Asides classroom teaching, students deserve other tutorial, this will help sharpen their knowledge and help them with their assignments, parents this days are usually too busy with work that they have no time to carry out private tutorials for their kids and this days hiring a private tutor is also not safe but with artificial intelligence, every child can find a tutor online. These online private tutors are usually affordable and easy and they take their time to provide easy teaching skills.

There is no compulsory need for a physical school: Some students have been left out of educational pursuit as a result of been physically challenged but online schools have made it possible for everyone to get quality education without stepping into the four walls of a classroom. Artificial intelligence has helped to provide education to everyone at every level.

I agree that AI will change education in the future. However, children still need motoric activities and build socialization in real life. I used to be a pricipal school teacher, children that have more time with their digital gadget seem to be selfish and egoistics and difficult to get socialized in real life.

AI helped not only educational system but in all other aspects. As you said students don't need to go educational pursuit, that is true but the thing is students don't learn only academics by moving to educational pursuits also they learn social skills, manners and good habits. Of course, student can gain lot of knowledge by staying under floor but student can not learn manners,skills,habits by just simply staying inside home.
Perhaps, nowadays it is much more beneficial for everyone to stay indoors but for long run it is not.

Yeah while we see artificial Intelligence boost the education, do we consider the loss of apathy and the chemistry that links the humanity between the teacher and student in a conventional classroom setting? How about the job loss on the part of teachers? We need to critically take a look at these aspects.
