Well... last night, my youngest was calling out in the middle of the night. I'm the light sleeper of the adults, and so I went over and slept with her... however, it was a pretty rough night... she was warm and cranky, but would go to sleep and then wake up screaming a short while later. So, pretty much par of the course for these sort of broken nights... 

However, just to check... we tested her temperature in the morning. It was a little high... but it can be pretty hard to test this with a toddler. On the other hand, most of the bum measurements tend to be on the low side as she would open her mouth and the thermometer would read a low reading due to the incoming air. 

So, following the current rules of the Dutch government... we are isolated for a little bit in the attic. Seeing as I spent most of the night right next to her with her breathing in my face, I get to spend the confinement upstairs in the attic with her, whilst my wife and older daughter have free reign of the lower levels of the house. It's a bit like imprisoned royalty... we call out for what we need... but we need to stay up here (barring showers and toilets...). 

Luckily for me, my gaming rig is up here... so I have that to entertain me when she is asleep, otherwise we are just doing lots of book reading and that sort of thing. She's doing pretty okay... just a slight temperature at the moment, no complaining or anything like that. 

Of course, we have no idea what it is... but the guidelines are pretty clear. We stay indoors for the next couple of weeks. So, now I need to look up the various grocery delivery services... they all looked pretty backed up as far as delivery goes, nothing available over the next week. Luckily, we are well stocked so that isn't an immediate problem. 

Well... I also have nothing really anything else better to do anyway... seeing as all my work has evaporated, and I'm seeing cancellations starting to come in from summer projects. However, weirdly enough (well... not too weird...) I'm starting to get booked for projects in September and onwards! I hope that comes through... but I"m a little wary that things will be definitely be sorted by then!
