Choose what to think and what to speak out loud. Choose what to read and how to understand the meaning of what you read. Choose, and not pay prison fees. Freedom is not an absolute value, nor is it an abstract category. Freedom is the same matter as power. It has many faces and can be learned by comparison. Standing next to the prison fence, you immediately understand the difference. This difference is especially noticeable when some of those we knew found themselves on the other side of this fence. But not because they were villains. But because they raised their voice against what they considered villainy. Sometimes, in order to get freedom, you have to risk it! **** I want to say that in order for a person to acquire his freedom, he must learn to value others' freedom. Our freedom is empty if we allow the deprivation of freedom of others without the most compelling reason. And all our thoughts and words, no matter how true and important they may seem to us, have no meaning if, in order to prove our own rightness, we want to limit the rights of those who disagree with us. This is how the world works.
