To me this is noting new, but political correctness of wording may, or may not be the only way to convey what is appropriate to the YouTubers any since they are hypersensitive and triggered.  I'm not surprised by this happening because of the companies that are with the Secret societies and Media also.

The future of free speech is alive and well here, I am hopeful and agree:) The *true purge* will be all immoral and unethical conduct happening right now at the larger networks. Case in point that recent Facebook survey question asking people's preference on whether adults can ask minors for sex pictures. YouTube / Google / Facebook will do whatever they want.
They're all part of the antiquated centralized, hierarchical, paradigm of controlling trust. As the dinosaurs continue to shut out dissenting voices to their heart's content, at their own peril, their sycophant zombies will continue to feed upon the politically correct version of reality, at their own peril.

Meanwhile, this sort of censorship acts as a springboard for displacing technologies such as Blockchain based social media tools like d.tube and steemconnect to establish themselves as THE CENSORSHIP PROOF platforms of the future starting NOW.

These new tools have a 180 opposite model of trust, Horizontal and Decentralized vs Hierarchical and Centralized, based upon math and not human ego. It's all about decentralizing trust and spreading the power out to everyone, taking full advantage of network theory [https://lnkd.in/ge-zkJx]. It's precisely what made the internet possible. No longer will just an elite few have complete power and control to manipulate who, what, when, where, why, and how you should think.

I really can't believe this is happening in America.  I left all those platforms a while ago.  I figure continuing to use them is enabling them, and I become part of the problem.  Steemit/Dtube and Bitchute are all I use anymore.

My channel on YouTube was active for 10 years without any strikes, but in January I suddenly received two strikes on the same day for an innocent video I made and posted three years ago! My channel was not only suspended, my appeal was denied without explanation. 

I closed my accounts on Facebook and Twitter.  I don't want to support the corruption.  If everyone stopped using them, they'd simply dry up and blow away.

Just joking.  The mass adoption to these new platforms has not happened yet.  Hopefully the great content produced by Ben and his team continues to garner interest in alternative platforms like these.  Everyone knows censorship on the old platforms is happening.

censorship is a telling sign of the state's ideological standpoint. the america's have gone down a path not seen since the early 1930's in germany. the world needs to get ready for a new and improved adolf hitler whose mandate included fulfilling the georgia guidestones prophecy of limiting the human species to only five hundred million people.

yep.  It IS a purge.  I've lost several videos from my YouTube Channel and posts from my Facebook account.  I have 4 friends- who are also alternative media reporters like myself, who've had their entire YT accounts deleted, or lost multiple videos.... just vanished .

The question that I ask is:  What will be the next step in this purge? .... because there will certainly be a next step.
