There is 3 types of vision

I have been thinking about vision a lot lately we all hear about it, how important it is to have a vision and this is true.

But which vision should be applied and when?

To me there is 3 types of vision.

The Mentor Vision

The chances are if your new to building a business online your vision may at first be actually not be your vision but a vision you was sold on in the first place. If you was not sold on a vision when you first started this will not apply to you however many people are.
A mentor vision can be very important as it inspires you and gives you purpose until you discover your own vision and many people will follow this till they succeed because they believed in it so much. This is OK it is still a vision and you share goals with your mentor working towards the same purpose this can be and create a powerful movement.

Your Own Vision

That's right your own vision is important building a business with an end goal insight is amazing, set your vision have goals leading to how you will achieve it then all you have to do is get people to believe in your vision too.
All going well you will achieve it, but you must stay focused and it is important to find people not that just share your vision but that can also lead you successfully to it.

The Future Cast Vision

This is something that people do not often talk about is the future cast vision, this is when you find someone that maybe in your business or circle but they are not really doing anything to progress. If this person is left to their own the chances are they may fail or may not even start. Maybe they could not connect to a mentor vision or maybe they could not connect to your vision but i believe these people could be sold on a vision.
With these people you need to tell them to close their eyes then ask them questions like, what do you want in your life? what is your perfect life? where do you see you and your family in 1 years time, 5 years time, 10 years time and so on.
Sometimes people can't really see beyond what they need and just need help seeing it, if they are struggling make suggestions we all have the ability to dream sometimes some people lose it for a moment is all.
They will discover their own vision, or maybe your vision or even the mentor vision.

Good information, I think you should at least work on going through each vision if you don't have all 3.  Your own vision to motivate you to learn.  Future vision to have long term goals of where you want your own vision to go.  Mentor vision will hopefully make it all happen and teach you to help other people with their vision.

Great post @benthomaswwd it's a wonderful topic and one which is rarely discussed in the affiliate marketing world with the exception of CTP. I find it is more prevalent in network marketing another thing which comes to mind is to use a vision board. A vision board is a good reminder to pursue the vision. It sort of falls in to the same category as finding your Why or at least knowing your Why... ie: Better quality of life, time freedom, financial freedom, more time with family, the ability to assist or support others etc.

Thank you Paul i agree i love this subject i guess cause i am a network marketer over an affiliate marketer but i think these days  it is all the same thing the differences are so small. Everyone in business regardless could benefit from a vision board have the best weekend buddy.

I've just thought about this while I was reading the post, and saw it at the end... I would say that I have done something similar... 

I was a bit lost 2 years ago... didn't know what to do, where to start... I was at the end of my "life cycle", and had big doubts about the way to proceed... And I've got that "mentor vision", which evolved to my OWN one, and at the end changed to "future cast vision"... 

So, maybe they aren't all-in-one but changing from one to another...

I think your right buddy and raise a very good point as business owners, affiliates, network marketers or any other evolving and using what we can to ascend in the times we are unsure where our direction is going is just as important as what vision we use. 

Regardless if they are all in one, changing from one to another or even separate but aligned i think we can all agree vision is a must have an amazing week bro.

Definately Russell without vision we will never really reach success because there is no direction i think this is why so many people end up giving up, what is your vision? is is normally one of the first questions i ask people that want to work with me.
