Nos han enseñado a tenerle miedo a la oscuridad siempre nos muestran la oscuridad como el lugar de perdición donde las almas sufren, esta creencia está tan arraigada en la humanidad que constantemente nos encontramos luchando con nuestra propia oscuridad, peleamos por expulsarla desde lo más profundo de nuestra alma para encontrar la paz. Sin embargo en algunos momentos de meditación he pensado ¿Qué tan mala es la oscuridad? ¿Realmente nuestra tan anhelada paz se encuentra en la ausencia de oscuridad en nuestra alma? Si se que son extrañas preguntas pero mi mente inquieta muchas veces se las ha realizado.


>We have been taught to be afraid of darkness, we are always shown darkness as the place of perdition where souls suffer, this belief is so ingrained in humanity that we constantly find ourselves struggling with our own darkness, we fight to expel it from the depths of our soul to find peace. However, in some moments of meditation I have thought: How bad is darkness? Is our longed-for peace really found in the absence of darkness in our soul? Yes I know these are strange questions but my restless mind has often asked them.

Cuando estamos dibujando inicialmente creamos un imagen plana a esta imagen vamos agregando no solo color sino también luz y sombras (oscuridad) en algunos puntos para darle profundidad, relieve, textura hasta que nuestra imagen plana parece tener vida propia. Partiendo de este hecho entonces, a mi parecer la luz y la oscuridad crean un balance, un equilibrio perfecto… la una no existe sin la otra, ninguna es buena ni mala. Y muy probablemente no sea así,  pero creo que para transcender es necesario aceptar nuestra luz y nuestra oscuridad como parte de un todo una dualidad.

 Soy una mujer analítica que constantemente le gusta meditar y cuestionarse sobre los temas más profundos de nuestra existencia, a medida que voy aprendiendo, aplicando nuevos conocimientos y técnicas trato de encontrar mi estilo propio en el arte, la verdad se siente increíble imaginar algo y poderlo dibujar, es tan raro mirar algunos de mis extraños pensamientos convertidos en una imagen, pero a la vez es maravilloso.

Este trabajo representa la dualidad, el bien el mal, la luz la oscuridad ambos en un solo ser que habita entre el cielo y el infierno. Me llevo bastante tiempo realizarlo ya que no tenía la imagen completamente clara de como quería representar esa dualidad, pero después de más de un mes al fin nació la imagen final y este es el resultado, espero que les guste. Esta imagen fue realizada con Ibis Paint X en mi teléfono Samsung M20. Esta disponible 3 ediciones en Nft Showroom.
