Some days are just so productive!

Isn't it lovely when you can spend a day doing stuff you like, need and else? It's a plus when there's also time to rest. A recipe for success!

All began early. It was barely 5:00 a.m. It's still a joke that our only exportation product is petroleum and we have to make long line for gas and have some restrictions. That's a bigger joke. We can't get gas when the quarantine hits the week for no other reason than the Governor's desire. Yes, in other parts of Venezuela, there's not such a stupid rule. Regardless of this, I was waiting for a chance to go out. 3 weeks at home wasn't a bad thing either. I went back to work out, picked the musical thing again, did a lot of work on a Cuatro. But I had stuff coming and needed to buy other things. So, it was a early bird situation.

We parked in the line. It was about 50 cars long. Ours was number 44. And this thing didn't last more than 1 hour. Luckily, the first hours of the days are the fastest. Maybe it's relative, but as I was listening to music and still a bit sleep, it wasn't long when I realized we were right at the Gas Station and then off to buy goods.

It was a day of buying stuff. Things to fix problems of the house, more food, some tasty things, and a quick trip to grandma's house. She's looking quite good. Also, seems to have stopped using the cane for good. Those are remarkable news for a 86-year-old granny.

Before getting there, I had to wait in another line. This one was eternal. But two packages were coming for me: a jumping rope for my mom (she wanted to start doing some exercise), and a L-shaped ruler (I have 2 already, but I needed a smaller one). This came at a good time. Although, I still have a saw on the way, but it's coming from the other side of the country. It will take longer to get here. Even before this, I had a quick trip to the Hardware Store and got a box of nails and more glue. These always come in handy in you need to make jigs.

I got back home and my parent went off to buy more things. I took this time to get some fish out of the freezer for lunch and get the goods we had already bought cleaned up and in their place. It wasn't until mom arrived home that I found out I had taken out the wrong fish. This was the slip of the day. But it wasn't much of a problem either. I fixed the mistake and we have some fried fish for lunch after getting more things in the shelfs.

There was a quick break after lunch to watch some YouTube stuff and get into the afternoon doing more. I picked up Bri and practiced more the song I published yesterday[](https://peakd.com/hive-193816/@bertrayo/practice-a-little-and-youll-get-far). Even got Embla and practiced some things I had left forgotten. After some of this. I got into designing my Mandolin template for the workshop. Thanks to Master Luthier Juan José Hernández, I have some measures to work my way around the design and also by looking the ins and outs of Bri. As easy as an hour and half of work and I got my design ready. This AutoCAD thing is growing onto me. Such a nice tool!

When I though I couldn't do more, I went the extra mile and for the Solera mold ready to put together the latest instrument of the workshop. Now, it's ready to get closed up. What else could make this day? Well, writing about a good day here. This might go unseen. But I bet people who take the time to read this line would catch a bite of the good vibes bug and have a great day. It doesn't matter when they read it.
