Sometimes nature has a way of giving you and end of the end in the most spectacular fashion. Yesterday, after going out of an activity at the house of the poet Ramos Sucre, I set my eyes upping the sunset light over St. Ines' Church.

Cumaná has this thing about the sunsets that are incredible. And during these days, one can enjoy this natural event for longer or at least later in the day. We are coming near the solstice. Now, we are closer to the sun and days are longer. It is always weird to see this change on the way day starts and ends. We are also in the season of tropical waves and that nakes it even weirder. The clouds give us a lot of nice contrast to get a better sunset. However, sunrises suffer.


I took some photos of the scene. One with the cables that ruin all the photos, but they might work in illustrations. But then I got near the Church' stairs to get a better look and another angle. I bet the sunset was even better near the sea. As it is the usual thing.

Today, I have to be out again during those hours. I'll probable get some other shots at other sights around downtown.
