Hi I will give you five tips that are the most used in my day, I hope you are helpful.

1. Be proactive:

Stephen R. Covey wrote one of the bibles of productivity that have read, or at least look, almost all people who have been related to the world of the company: The 7 habits of highly effective people. Among them, the first point in which put his attention, was on proactivity. In other words, "be responsible for our own lives, since our behavior is a function of our decisions, not our conditions." This example can be applied both to life and to our way of working, and is that, if you want to be productive, the first step is to make our own decisions about the work and not always justify around "the circumstances". In this same sense, i insists that "we must not wait to react to events, but get ahead to take our own path".

2. Work on our ability to concentrate:

It is clear that if we want to be proactive, we have to have a focused mind, to make the best decisions. If we are in a moment of stress or tension that prevents us from putting the necessary concentration "it is best to change the task for another more appropriate moment if possible". In this sense, I recommend you to perform activities related to meditation or even with the so fashionable mindfulness, to improve our ability to concentrate.

3. Mark objectives and not times:

Socially we are used to talking about work according to hours or days. But when you start to manage your own resources you have to seek to be more effective and better talk about your goals.

In this world we only talk about hours at work as an association of productivity and it is far from being real. It is one of our great evils. We continue to have a culture of presence and what we achieve in many cases is to have people present physically but emotionally and mentally absent. We have forgotten about the work with objectives, with follow-up, with resources to provide talent. To improve in this sense, work with projects with clear objectives and specific delivery dates, and not letting yourself be overwhelmed by the urgent.

4. Take advantage of our energy peaks: We do not always have the same energy, and therefore, we must not only think about managing work, but also managing ourselves, taking advantage of our moments of greater capacity.

It is vital "to identify your daily peak or peak of energy and productivity, to take advantage of the most relevant tasks or the most difficult ones. For many people it will be at the beginning of the day, others at mid-morning or even some have it in the afternoon. " In addition, another key is to take small breaks between tasks to disconnect, get up from the work table and regain strength in order to close a mental compartment and move on to the next.

5. Plan our tasks in advance: Sort tasks and find our best moments should therefore be part of our planning process, and that is another key. Sometimes we throw ourselves to solve issues for a false belief of being productive and it's just the opposite,

The first is to create a list of tasks, collecting and regularly updating the tasks in one place, either a notebook, the mail or an app

In this way it would be necessary to order them, either on a daily or weekly basis and establishing start and delivery dates.

Start with the difficult, that is, start the day solving the most complicated tasks.

I also insists that with respect to the minimum tasks, those that require less than 3 minutes, it is better to solve them at the moment, since it often takes less time to write them down.
