Thanks for sharing. You say US government regulations do not apply. Why would the Tribe allow state level government to restrict them? Why was sports betting not already in place? Why are they giving money to the state? What are they getting from the state?

The tribes operate under different jurisdictions but they can't just create their entire government from the ground up - some restrictions apply. Typically they create agreements to allow various forms of gambling to take place and there are rules on what this can be.
