Few days been feeling under the weather. I decided to take a walk this morning which I don't normally do. The chirping of birds greeted me with a music I havent heared for a long time. As the gentle breeze touches my skin, memories of childhood flashback. I was back in the days where worry is unknown. The rays of the sun awakens every sleeping cell in my body that was tormented with stress. Walking in the wet grass caused by morning dew, envelopes me with comfort I realized I needed all this time. How I wanted to walk barefoot. The breeze of westerlies opens my nasal cavity and filled it with fresh humid air. Ah! simplicity. Precious moments given by nature. Hope to feel better soon. As covid19, changes our daily life, we have been bombarded with a myriad of negative news. The mundane of daily lifestyle extract the last drop of enthusiasm in our soul. We have been overthinking of the multitude of dark possibilities. We have the right to be free. As I walk and take a sight of what is still around me, I witness my dog running happily back and forth. She is so joyful amid the pandemic and enjoying every piece of what is just around her. Her name is "Pangit". In Filipino it means ugly. Maybe, I can drop everything for a while and be like her. "Pangit" reminded me of the beauty and peace that is still present in the midst of this challenging times.
