Fitting into a New Work Environment
So you've just landed your first job and you're probably thinking of how you'd be able to easily blend into your new workspace and perform your tasks seamlessly.

Fitting into a new work environment can be a daunting tasks for some people, while for some persons not so much and this is largely due to differences in our temperaments, IQ, attitudes towards work and life.
_For example, Person A might find it really hard getting along with new people, it'd take time to be in sync with individuals he/she is meeting for the first time, while for Person B it comes naturally, they hit it off with anyone almost immediately._
Person A however, understands how to perform tasks easily without any guidance or supervision, for Person B it might take lots of tutoring and guidance he/she eventualy has an understanding of what needs to be done.
What am I trying to say here? We all have our strengths and weaknesses, utilizing them and working on them would help us in fitting into our work environments and help us get tasks at our workplace done.
However, you can use these simple tips below to fit into any work environmen while you try to work on your strengths and weaknesses:

#### Do Not Arrive Late to Work on Your First Day
First impression matters and being late on your first day at wok isn't the type of first impression you should be selling to your new employer and your new colleagues at work no matter what sort of excuse you might have. You wouldn't want to begin to think you're lazy or someone who always has excuse for his/her failures.

#### Introduce Yourself to Your Work Colleagues
Your employer, HR or the head of the department you're assigned to should do this, but in case none of them do that for any reason whatsoever, you can ask boldly approach your head of department to introduce you to the team.
If he/she isn't accessible, you should introduce yourself to your colleagues. A simple introduction like "I'm XYZ, the new IT guy", he/she that you introduce yourself to would reply and you can get things off from there.

#### Be Appreciative of Feedbacks
Feedbacks are important as it helps you improve your professional skills, whether it is a great or not so great feedback. Your supervisor or head should usually give feedback after you've completed a task, but if he/she doesn't, you can politely ask for feedback and be ready to improve on where you're lacking or fine tuning the aspects you have been found to be good in.

#### Try to Make Small Talks
Making small talks helps you get along easily with your colleagues, if you're not the type that really know how to keep conversations going. A simple " Good morning, how are you doing?" or "how was your night?", "how was the weekend?" would do.
