How to earn $10000 a month

I wake up some morning thinking of a million and one things that I can do to make me rich. I search up things on how to be make money online, how to make money from home and other things. After like two hours of research, I stop and make a list that never yields any result.
There is one thing I discovered something. Something so basic yet crucial. That thing is **skill**. Everyone needs to have a skill and a skill with high demand at that. When you search for jobs you see them asking for content writers, software developers and all. That’s skill right there.
### So what is a skill?

According to my dictionary, a skill is the capacity to do something well. Most often a skill is something that is acquired or learnt. A person is said to be skilful when he has the techniques to perform an activity well repeatedly. While doing all the research on how to make money online, I discovered that there are some skills that is in high demand. These skills are called high income skills.

### When is a skill said to be high income?

According to Dan Lok “a high income skill is anything that can generate ten thousand dollars a month”. A skill is said to be high income when it is able to generate 6 figures in dollars per annum. For me I would like to call a skill high income if it is in so much demand in the developed world that it becomes almost an essential service to a firm or company. Essential services meaning it is needed at every point in time whether there is pandemic, recession or layoffs.
Doctors are essential workers so as the person who helps with closing sales for a multimillion dollar firm. A person who brings customers to a firm by the content he writes makes him an essential service as his content brings revenue to the firm.
Examples of high income skills include copywriting, digital marketing, and software developing, public speaking, high ticket sales expert , expert in branding etc. According to Dan Lok, he says entrepreneurship is a skill. I personally feel entrepreneurship is a combination of skills and maybe I will prefer to call it managerial skills. I will also like to add risk manager and traders to the list as they can bag in way more than ten thousand dollars a month. People feel traders have luck but I would say it’s actually a skill and a high income one at that for a trader who knows his stuff.

Act now, learn one high income skill and you will be smiling to the bank in the nearest future. If you look at the top richest people in the world you would probably see a trend. Techies everywhere, entrepreneurs, affiliate marketing, real estates and investors. Use books and you tube videos. They probably contain the basics.
On a final note, try to learn something you enjoy, something you vibe with. Invest time and energy in it. Be consistent and you will get results. Practice what you learn. If you are learning how to write you could practice on hive and aim at getting better.

That title was really captivating. That shows a true blogger.

You are right. Skill can bring a lot even beyond our imagination but not untill we realise it and the importance attached to it before we can begin to see the benefit in it.

A skill can fetch 6 figures another can fetch even as high as 8 figures! Yeah some skills are capable of doing that.

The first step is to realise the skill, realise the importance and application with well planned strategy and then....

Dear @bhoa

Interesting choice of topic. One of those posts, which surely are worth checking out and reading through. 

I'm not sure if thinking about getting rich is the way to get there. I think it's best if you would wake up and think: how can I bring or create value worth few million dollars and enjoy part of it.

Definetly there isn't many things you can do online which could make you wealthy. Not without some initial funding and experience in managing business or organization. 

Forget about seeking millions - that will only drive you nuts. Focus on bringing and creating value and finding ways to monetize it.

It would be great to enjoy some of those skills, for everyone would be excellent to win that amount of money, but everything has its effort, if it were so easy we would all be rich hehe and that's not the reality, but as you say it's up to us to bet on ourselves, if we want something to be a reality is to focus and make it happen.
