Hello to the dearest community ever!
I realized that I haven’t posted here for a while and I truly missed it. I missed scrolling through your beautiful captures, sharing impressions, and that little spark of joy when someone comments on my photo. So here I am again, with my camera roll and with my random focus moments.
I say focus moments because lately my eyes, and maybe my heart too, keep catching things that are not really part of one big story, but they all somehow deserved to be captured. Just one click, one second of attention, and now they are here, together.

One day, when we were at ours grandgrandmothers old house, I found myself staring at something that looked almost like a little flame stuck on green wood. It was not fire though, but a bright orange-yellow larva with tiny black dots. For a moment, I felt like a kid again, discovering strange insects and imagining they are visitors from another planet. Nature really has the best color palette.

This big plate of roasted veal landed in front of me and I honestly could not resist. The smell, the crispy golden edges, the tenderness inside… my focus was completely taken. Sometimes I think food is one of the best models for photography, because it does not move and it smiles at you with its shine. The only problem is—it disappears quickly!

Of course, my cat could not escape the focus. He was lying on the cool patterned floor, stretching like he owns the whole house (and maybe he really does). My red toenail polish got into the frame too—completely unplanned, but somehow it made the photo warmer. He is my good buddy, my soft pillow when I’m tired, and sometimes my best photography model.

Before this shot,there were sweet, white grapes that disappeared way too fast. I love grapes so much that I always forget to take a photo before eating them. At least this skeleton of a bunch got the spotlight. Maybe not glamorous, but sweet and lovely!

One more moment of focus came in a beach café. The weather was cloudy, rain was about to start, but we still went swimming. I had my towel wrapped around me, with sandals still wet, when I noticed a tiny plastic spoon abandoned on the ground. Not really beautiful, not really ugly—just… there. I clicked. Life is full of these small details we usually don’t even notice, but when we put them in focus, they somehow tell a story about our day.
