Sharing a failure

I was reediting this photo from last year, and as i was playing with hue and saturation i got this interesting effect. I started making an animated gif in PS and it was 30MB big. Who will upload a 30MB gif? So moved to Premier. Tried it there. And i learned to not make animated gifs with photos that have a lot of shadows and dark areas. I still kinda like the result, but not what i had in mind 2 hours ago.

I think it looks pretty cool, creating high quality gifs that don't have compression fuzzies is something I have struggled with myself :/

I kind of depends what you are starting with, from video photoshop works pretty good using import video to frames, there is also an online site ezgif.com that can make the process really easy (better for still images IMO and not too heavy). Depending on how big your initial files are sometimes one or the other can give better results

my problem with this, especial with after effects, i don't do it for "money", it is not my job. so i get some ideas, learn how to do them, and then i have no ideas for some time, and forget half of what i learned :D
