This homestead must have really been something years ago. Going through it made me feel nostalgic, and lonely. Lonely for all the people who are no longer alive. Lonely for the ones that used to thrive in this house.

This newspaper is in excellent condition. It does not even look like it has been read.
Also found some other stuff...

I am not an expert in antiques, but from a little bit of research, shows this bottle to be over 50 years old.

An old post hole digger. With a bit of oil, and new handles, these could be put back into service.

Treasure, or junk... is in the mind of the beholder.

All of the windows are broken out. Probably some kids. I have to admit, I loved breaking glass too, as a kid.

Aretha Now was released in 1968

The movie was released in 1965. I list this because the stars of the movie are featured on the cover.

I found this teacup intact. I am going to wash it, and use it. As I use it I will be thinking of those who lived there. A salute, so to speak.

I grew up on Big K.
One last thing...

I found this bulb, and it WORKS. Sweet!
#### And one more last thing... My favorite find is the newspaper. It is intact, and complete. I am going to look through it and maybe scan some of it. Let me know if you'd like to see more of it.
