Rest day well spent with friends

Good afternoon guys. I just got home from seeing my friends. It has been a month that I never got to come home in our province in Alcoy and I decided to go home since today is my moms birthday. It is like a 4 hour drive to get from Cebu City to Alcoy.

Since my moms birthday celebration is tonight, earlier today I decided to see my friends and have like a mini reunion with them. We also decided to have a boodle fight which is a famous tradition of eating in the Philippines.

First thing that we did is went to a public beach and cook something in there. We ate our breakfast there.

We cooked mung beans and we also bought side dishes for it. After eating we had a little chat and shared stories with them then we decided to just cook something for lunch also and come up with an idea to cook tangkong or spinach in english. We had a lot of spinach here in our place and you can just get it for free.

We sauteed it and then cook some dried fish with it. It was so delicious and nutritious at the same time. Now I am just relaxing in my room and is waiting for my moms birthday celebration.
