<h1>Hive Blockchain Goals And What's New</h1>

Rather light week on hive this week so instead of doing a full post about just updates on the chain I'm also going to recap some of my own goals and projects I've been working on myself.

# What's New At Hive

### Posh and Gosh

One of the cool updates was the introduction of a token called #gosh  This token is a rewards token for sharing your hive blockchain posts over on [LeoThreads](https://leofinance.com/threads) If you didn't know there's also a token called #Posh which rewards you for sharing you hive blockchain post on various socials such as twitter. It's a great way to spread awareness, build readers and earn some extra tokens on top of it.

### Leo Threads

Leo threads pulled in a few new features into Alpha. My hopes are this gets full tested and released to public soon and that these smaller type features instead get released over time while on the public general server and not alpha. I feel it would bring a lot more hype and continued use to the UI. 

The one thing that still worries me is the lack of "likes" on thread style posts as it doesn't feel as natural as something like twitter yet and I feel like people might be reluctant still to like something because it's using their hive voting weight as well. Time is going to tell though if this thing gets adopted because of these so called implementations.

I've been having some fun with the introduction of CPTX. While these types of programs are major old school they still provide a way for new people and existing to expand the reach of their brand awareness as well as building following etc.

It's rather simple yet affective on how it works.

1) Join [CTPX](https://ctpx.io/?ref=bitcoinflood)
2) Add a site you wish to promote (could be one of your articles or profile page for LEO, CTP etc)
3) Surf at least 10 sites (you view others pages in exchange for them to view yours)
4) Get your chance to win CTP (layer 2 tokens of Hive) hourly by surfing at least 10 pages a hour.

# My Goals

### Hive
Goal 100,000 Hive | Current 89,513.548 | Daily Needed: 34.04

My Daily needed per day has been falling which is a good thing. It means I need to make less hive a day to hit my goal but what it really means to me is I can start hitting that goal BEFORE the end of the year.

There's a lot of things coming down the pipeline that should drastically speed much my hive earnings in particular [Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=bitcoinflood) with the land release. It's why I've been stacking decent amounts of DEC and SPS over the last few months to make sure I'm ready for me 142 plots of land of which 100 are a tract which means a keep!

Also packs are just about sold out. There's a end of sale push which has huge prizes but they only go to the top 10 so I'm not sure I'll really take part in it. First price is a wopping 300 land plots which is a massive $14,200 in value. Right now you could buy 2,500 packs and reach 1st place which would run you about $10,000 which if you did win you'd make a $4,200 instant profit. Of course I'm sure that will change as the last of the packs are sold out.
