<h1>What's New In Hive + Goals</h1>

Hives blockchain continues to advance and while the last hard fork had a bit of a glitch in it a new hardfork will be releasing tomorrow to fix those issues. I'm sure we will have more news about it after it's taken place. 

That's at hives core but what about everything else built on top of hive?

Well last week was a bit of a snooze fest but this week should be pretty busy. Here is a list of things I already know that will be taking place next week.

- Updated hardfork on Monday for hive
- SPS airdrop for GLX tokens will start on Tuesday the 25th
- It seems like a few of the known releases for LeoThreads that where announced are not out yet so I expect those this week.
- I'm sure there's more but nothing else is coming to mind right now.

# Goals

### Hive

With hive now at a 2:1 or better on the market for HBD I've been dumping nearly all of my HBD into hive. The payouts in HBD have been so crazy low that it seems rather pointless to dump it into HBD savings. At least for myself you're thoughts might be different. The idea is during this time I should be able to stack Hive faster so when/if that rally comes in and payouts increase that means the HBD earned will be far higher. There was once a time during hives rally when $20-$30 dumps of HBD where happening during those bull runs. Now most of my HBD payouts are $5 or below from posts so you can see why dumping into hive seems like a better play long term right now.

At the time of writing this hive is only trading at $0.46 which is a decline again month over month of $0.04. This slow trajectory downwards does not seem to be stopping which makes me think we could see hive around $0.40 by the end of November if markets don't start picking up. (I personally don't see them picking up again till 2023 mid to late of the year now)

 Each day we are making around $15 from hive. Which means time invested at least for myself between hive, promotion and leofinance is only earning me around $5 a hour if that. I can see what many people get discouraged during these times and bail. I get it it makes sense when you're sinking tons of time in and making $5 a hour it doesn't work out lol. However for myself I've been through this up and down three times being on hive and every time the next bull run steps in my accounts only been stronger because of all the time, effort and work I put in during these downturns.

While dollar value was down hive earnings where up a bit pushing me towards 47 hive earned per day through powerups, buys of hive etc. Not all of this comes from curation as there are times I transfer over wax earnings from games and other areas into buying hive to help push me towards that goal a little faster.

I stacked a little more HBD but it's small. Any earnings I think I'll just convert into hive and build that faster for now. Outside of that if there are game assets that blow up in price I'll either dump those earnings into HBD at 20% or put them into liquidity pools for splinterlands etc. The idea here to to continue to build SPS as fast as possible while also building other passive income streams around it.

### LEO

I spend a large portion of my day on LEOFinance. With [LeoThreads](https://leofinance.io/threads), curation and writing it takes up a good amount of my day. I'd say in any given day I'm actively on LeoFinance at least three hours.

Between earning from curation, author rewards, threads and buying some leo outright we packed on 218 leo per day! That's a huge growth milestone and something I'll be continuing with. It puts me just shy of my goal with delectation abut well on track for where I need to be to beat that delegation.

All of this leo is going to work through defi, curation and stacking for now. I see zero reason to sell any of it being the price sank to $0.05 from where we used to be well over $0.20 for a while. My hopes are we start seeing some action there come 2023 because right now this stack is hardly worth anything.

Goal will be reached this week for sure which puts me two months ahead! That's a huge milestone and I can't wait to share that with you all next week. Outside of that I'll continue to stack it and build it.

I found a site last night to review all SPS across accounts as a rich list. I hate to say it but I'm not even in the top 200 anymore! There are some seriously huge stacks of SPS that make my 1 million goal look like poot lol But still that's the goal.

The more SPS I have the more GLX I'll be earning starting in just two days. It only makes sense to aggressively keep stacking at these prices and earn a 20%+ APR rate on it. Land payouts have also been pretty good. I'm also still debating on using [Splex.gg](https://splex.gg/?ref=deg0yokrp6d9iltm) in order to rent out my cards. Perhaps moving the ones I want to rent to another account and testing it out? That's a massive undertaking though as moving all of those cards would take hours if not days. Rental income is ok I push around 5k-7k DEC per day and I've been using that for now mainly for buying more packs.

We also have another interesting thing taking place this week for Splinterlands and that's the summoning on Runi cards on Ethereum. It will be interesting to see the demand here, the cards and if they hold their value. It could mean huge injections of players and revenue to the company which I hope some would be shared with the community to bump reward values.
