This weekly report/article is geared to show others what is possible on the $HIVE blockchain and what other powerful leads of layer two tokens such as $LEO are doing. It will also highlight new things going on, on chain and it's not only targeted towards users of the platform but also devs.

To be honest I can't think of another blockchain that offers so much and so many use cases to fuel and grow your app or project than the hive blockchain.

I think [Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=bitcoinflood) does it right in so many ways. They have a solid game build on the Hive blockchain but also connected it into other chains like Binance. The game itself generates revenue through a small fee for transactions but they also built their own community front end at [SplinterTalk.io](https://splintertalk.io) 

Not only does this build a sense of community and for others to chat all things Splinterlands but it also adds value in that the layer two token earned on there could be used for other things plus earning hive. They also use hives blogging front end to talk about release notes, updates, fun interactive contests and lore of the game. All of these things earn revenue as well from the hive blockchain overall fueling the project to new highs. What other platform can you simply blog your updates and earn rather large rewards and support from the community? Not many in the web3 and crypto space!

# Goals

### $HIVE
Goal: 100,000 Current: 97,031 Needed Per Day: 18.44

I didn't drop as far as I would have liked on the needed per day as it only shifted about 0.5 compared to other weeks where it's 1. That's mainly from some moves I did with hive while I was away as I didn't want to lose out on curation rewards. Now that we are fully back in action those curation rewards will start to rapidly stack. Curation rewards alone seem to be netting me around 20 - 25 Hive per day which is beating my needed per day. For sure I see no issue in hitting the end of year goal and for sure I'm still pushing for end of July or end of August to finally reach it.

As you can see we have been climbing pretty well. I've also stopped converting HBD into Hive and instead I've been starting to stack it a little more aggressively. That 20% APR is looking better and better now. However I'm unsure how long it will last so I want to capitalize on it as much as possible while we can. ### $LEO

Goal: 150,000 Current Without Delegation: 105,519 With Delegation: 135,519
Needed Per day Without: 276.27 Needed Per Day With: 89.94

This one seems to be getting away from me a bit however I still have high hopes I'll be able to hit it by years end. Of course that depends on some things such as when ad buyback kicks in and how much LEO we get from that. How much hive I delegate into it and at what times and just overall general curation rewards and author rewards. It's honestly where I spend HOURS every day lol. I'll most likely be taking a more proactive approach to it here soon. I was really hoping for some type of referral program first but it seems like that might not be a thing any time soon.

One move I'm considering here at the moment is actully buying up a ton of CUB. It might be a silly move at $0.011 but the possibilities for a larger percent increase are there. Plus if it's integrated in more with LEO's front end, the bull market and HBD as a focal area for it I have a feeling it could do fairly well.

### $SPS

I am slowly trucking my way towards my goal of 1 million SPS. I have to say though it's looking rough for hitting that this year. I've come to realize if I don't hit it that's ok but I'd really love to. If I don't hit it before the price starts to take off I'm going to be much smarter and take some profits.

Right now however Splinterlands still generates a decent amount of passive income. From DEC earned from rental cards (which is WAY down at the moment I'm talking $2-$4 worth of DEC per day) to rending out SPS which is maybe $0.50 a day there's not too much going on there. 

I'm still stuck in terms of not being able to play the game. After being stuck back in bronze and not even earning any reward chests for the last 3 season I quit and rented everything out. As much as that hurt me to do so it's the big issue of the game right now in my opinion. Perhaps when the bots are kicked from one of the places I might stand a better chance and I'll give that season a solid go.

The other passive income from the came is coming from land and SPS staking right now which ends up netting me another $8 or so a day in value) That means rather passively Splinterlands currently generates me roughly $10 a day which isn't so bad.

Primarily right now I'm stacking as much as possible so I can be sure I'm good to go for land. Once land comes in I can see the passive income side really building up plus the values of things going up as well. I'm excited to see what the rest of this year brings us.
