<br>This was an interesting exploit I read up on and the "Dirty COW" exploit, or copy-on-write(<a href="http://dirtycow.ninja/">CVE-2016-5195</a>). It is an 11 year old bug that was patched up once but was apparently undone by another patch years later.

<h1>How Does The Exploit Work?</h1>It is a bug on the kernel level and the memory system can break at times during operations. During this time is when an unprivileged user can gain write access.

<h1>What Does This Mean?</h1>
The main fear of this bug can allow a user to gain root server access and do whatever they wanted. There are a large amount of Linux servers out there used by professional businesses, schools, and personal users. This is a bug users should take seriously and patch it as soon as fix is released.
