Thats a good suggestion. I also suggest to make # or any other char invalid to future memos. This whay you can add this char to your password and have automatic validation, so it can not be used as memo.

I haven't used it yet. Hope will not having that issue if i will get the chance to use it.

For now, i'm still unsure why are 2 keys on posting, active and memo. 
I read few articles about that and use only posting password in mobile and on desktop to be sure that is not usable for currencies.

But, if i use them so rarely i already forgot the main reason for private and that main keys...

So, in the memo should be used the key that is shown first in memo key (not the hidden one)?

They could have stolen like 20k of steem, but did the right thing and gave it back!

The problem is when the public field is simply titled "memo"... (maybe call it a public memo field... or what you suggested too! I mistakenly thought I was supposed to put my memo key there... even though it's a private memo key. And, had to change all my keys. Pain in the butt.

Very good suggestion! I think a lot of people will benefit from something like this! May they be new or old to this platform.  Mistakes are easily made and when pushed there is no way back!

JK. Good suggestion, though. Perhaps we need a password as well as 2-factor authentification. This stuff scares the heck out of me.  As hard as I've worked for my SP, I can't imagine losing it to a simple mistake like this.

This is a great suggestion and should be a good thing to be implemented. I always look if it's my password or not, but if you're rushing it it might go wrong. So an extra message will get your attention for sure.
