Beware and DYOR when investing into stuff

Back in 2017 .. the bull run was mostly driven by hype and ICOs from companies which most likely created a stupid website with a dream on making some crypto base project and creating a huge hype around it.

A lot of people came in and invested in these projects and some without even doing their proper research.

here was an example .. i remembered my friend got into investing in this and was asking me to join them which I found it really scammy. And true enough .. it was a scam.

In the 2020 bull run ... well its a whole different game ... projects have moved on from just pure speculation to creating "hype" over some token which they created over on either BSC or ETH networks and get people to start buying these almost useless tokens.

Scammers see that there are tons of gullible degens out there and scammers would create tokens with "relatable" names like Tesla or even META. People dive into it thinking that its from the "reputable" company and boom !!! Goodbye crypto.

These are just some of the ways we see how the scammers has evolved and with the advancement in the smart contracts and the big hype of crypto .. seems like these scammers have found it so much easier to steal cryptos not only from newcommers even from seasoned crypto investors.

SO !
Before spending your cryptos to buy stuff ... make sure you do your own research. If you are unable to find good info about it .. it could most likely be a scam. Also .. don't invest more then you can afford.
