### The Defi Crazy
Over the past few weeks there has been so much hype about DEFI ( Decentralized Finance ) tokens and daily we've seen friends and strangers just flaunting how much they have earned just by holding or staking these tokens.

Even **Coinmarketcap** has a designated page just to showcase these defi linked tokens and show its growth. You can see parabolic growth in some of these projects making it seem really unrealistic in terms of growth rate in the past 24 hours.

A clear example is like ChainLink and Ren or even Band .... crazy growth.

No one else can tell you what to do with your money however I do ask that you do really extensive research prior to buying into a coin/token as some of these tokens may just be pumping in price purely due to some whales just hyping things up so that they are able to dump their tokens in a high price

One of a quick way to start your research would be from Coinmarketcap's Social Feeds section, for example you can see this in ChainLink's details. It only takes you minutes to gain some knowledge about this crypto project and learn more about it.
