"We see a stir in the market, the prices are high and unreasonable. If the ICO bubble bursts, it will be a positive event for the industry," she said.

However, when this happens, the head of the Binance Lab did not dare to assume.

In 2018, the amount of funds raised with the help of initial coin offerings amounted to $9.29 billion, which is more than twice the total fees for the last year.

Ella Zhang also spoke about the program Cryptocurrency government Initiatives (CGI), which helps the exchange Binance fight against fraudulent ICO projects.

Binance is ready to financially support the funds that work with the exchange. Companies are only required to promise not to participate in exchange rate manipulation schemes (pump and dump) and to develop products according to whitepaper. Otherwise, Binance will delist the team tokens. The website for this initiative will be launched next week.

Within the framework of the program, within three to five years, Binance Labs plans to invest $1 billion in various projects. To get funding, teams must join CGI.

Earlier, the exchange Binance announced plans to launch a Fund to support companies working in the field of blockchain and digital currencies.
