China's national blockchain standardization Committee will be established before the end of this year, CoinDesk reports, citing the statement of the head of the Department of information and software of the Ministry of industry and information technology Li Yin.

In a keynote speech at the Guiyang Big Data Expo on Saturday, Lee Yin said that the structure of the Committee will be similar to the TC307 device, similar to the Commission of the International organization for standardization (ISO).

Thus, the government expects to complete a comprehensive blockchain standardization by the end of 2018.

# "We work closely with ISO and the International telecommunication Union (ITU). This year, the national technical Committee for blockchain standardization should start its work, " Yin said.

In February, the official publication of the Communist party of China "people's daily" called for tougher regulation of the blockchain industry in order to promote its further growth.

In the article "Three questions to blockchain" of February 26, the publication approved the policy of state support of new technologies.
