**Let's recap before continuing with this story, shall we?**

_Last week our main character was having a difficult day. The car broke, and the taxi never came. After entering a weird cafeteria inside a dark alley a huge woman brought a plate of food that was delicious but when our main character asked a 2nd plate the waitress refused saying there was only one plate of that food. That only made our character desperate to know what was inside that plate._ You can read the whole thing [in the first part of the story.](https://steemit.com/writing/@blacklux/interactive-story-the-plate)

I asked what you guys wanted to be inside that plate. The options were: rotten enchiladas, mutant rat in alfredo sauce, just an ordinary pizza slice and his soul. The option that won was **his soul**. 

At the end of the story I will wake 1-3 questions and depending on your responses I will write the next chapter. You guys are the ones who choose what direction the story will take. Alright, let's start with the 2nd chapter.

## The Plate - Part 2

The Place was really cold. I thought it was weird because it was awfully hot outside. I asked the waitress if she could turn off the air conditioner cause I was feeling really cold and she said _"We don't have a/c here, we don't even a have ceiling fan"_...  I looked at her with disbelief I wanted to insult her but I was so cold I couldn't even talk anymore. I stared at the empty plate... Oh, how much I would love to have another bite of that warm delicious food! It was driving me insane, I needed to know what was on that plate... My body was craving it to the point of obsession.

_"You want more, right? You need more!"_  

My body trembled while listening to that strong voice. My body felt heavier, it was getting difficult to keep my eyes opened. Who was speaking? I thought there was only me and that waitress inside the cafeteria. _"Feeling cold? Yeah, it happens... is inevitable to feel cold after eating your own soul!"_

A ray of light entered the dark place and I was able to finally see. A tiny flame was floating in the middle of the plate like leftover crumbs. Fear pierced every inch of my body, I wanted to scream in agony pain but the cold had me completely paralyzed. My soul, I ate my soul! How was that even possible? Of course I was freezing to death, without a soul a body can't feel warm! 

_"I can return your soul to you but it has a price. There's nothing free in this world you know?!"_

That voice, I didn't knew who was speaking but I wanted my soul back. I wanted to feel warn again, I wanted to live.
