If poor people vote for you, to secure that voting block, keep them poor. If pro-life people vote for you, to secure that voting block, just claim you are pro-life and keep the abortion clinic open. If you vote in Iran, to secure that voting block, just say death to America. The politicians real beliefs are irrelevant.
