Great stuff, man! It's like a collective, social smart contract.

Would be nice to populate a single point of reference for these sorts of 'social smart contracts' to see who has __voluntarily__ written and published their own code of conduct to the blockchain. 

This makes holding folks accountable down the road that much easier AND it gives another solid data point to differentiate 'individuals' from 'bots'.

Some 'shilling' is legitimate discussion. If it falls into my subjective spam category, that's enough for me to downvote. 

Trolling is a mix of dishonesty and antagonism. Shilling implies simple dishonesty. Two sides of the same coin, IMO.

I upvote posts I disagree with politically if the person writing them strikes me as intelligent. But I find too many people bitching about trolls as soon as they find themselves in conversation with someone that disagrees with them. I don't want to only talk to people who agree with me on everything. That's a circlejerk.
In general I upvote smart and reserve the down vote button for the worst kind of spam and stupidity.
