My pleasure.  Thank you for your reply @bontonstory.

With regards to the delicacy of the flower...yes and no.  This is a flower from a Magnolia Tree....the petals are strong yet easily bruised....smooth and ivory coloured...the stamens? which look like matchsticks seem to fall off all at once....the beautiful leaves of this tree are a rich green on the topside yet a smooth velvety bronze on the underside.  The Magnolia blossom is short-lived whether cut or left on the tree.
The tree itself can live quite a long time.
