   Begin with a neutral color background. Draw in the rough sketches of the character.

   Draw in a more detailed finer sketch over the roughs.

- ### Base/Primary Color
   ##### Layers Used:
   ###### Fine Sketch layer (Alpha Channel: On)
   ###### *Color Folder* -> Base/Primary Color layer
   
   Turn on alpha channel temporarily for the fine sketch layer, with the fill tool blacken the sketches, then turn off alpha channel. Drawing in the primary color as a base color for the character within the sketches.

- ### Detail Color
   ##### Layers Used:
   ###### *Color Folder* -> Detail Color layer
   
   Then draw in the rest of the colors.

   Finally, draw in a simple background pattern. Then check over the drawing for errors or changes you see that could be made.
