... architecture. The King Faisal Masjid, or as we called it "Boro Masjid", that literally traslated to "Big Mosque" is one if the most prestigious in the entire country.
It's located in the heat of Sharjah and is an absolutely gorgeous work of art.
For as long as I remember it's always been there. Maybe even before I was born. But I have been a visitor since forever. It's not only a place of prayer, but a landmark and a busy tourist attraction too.
It was named after the King of the Emirate and has not gone through much renovation. The design and structure has always stayed the same. It has 3 floors and amazing views from the inserts with massive windows. Recently, it had delegated since space for government offices too.
Such an amazing and breathtaking piece of work. Oh, did I mention the road in front of it used to be a runway for the airport?
Oh yes, there was an airport, too.
