Hi there,

I am not quite sure how to evaluate this project ...

For no tool exists to effectively detect plagiarism. A related debate with Hive-Watchers has highlighted such. Manual sifting and matching is necessary to detect plagiarism. How do you guarantee that those who are entrusted with this task will do it flawlessly? I don't think you can promise that, and the question of how careful these plagiarism checks can actually be is open to question. Rather, I think that the mere announcement of wanting to carry out this check should build trust. Where, for example, a plagiarism check fails and someone who is not paid to do such a check would probably be quite embarrassing for the operators. 

So I think this benefit is rather small and not necessarily a USP. 

I see it more as a psychological barrier that takes several steps to make those who would submit plagiarism aware of it, thereby appealing to their conscience from the outset. Of course, someone who doesn't care and skips this stumbling block with ease will still not be deterred :) The more effort someone makes with stolen content, the more difficult it is to expose him as a plagiarist, and at some point it has reached a limit where such content can hardly be identified. 

I haven't really understood the rest yet. Is it the case that if I wanted to make my content available here, I would first visibly insert my entire post, including text and images, into the comments section, then delete it and make it available for re-viewing? Still don't understand how that preserves the anonymity of the authors ...

alright, I see it now. Just followed it to the site. 

... I don't know. Maybe, if a person has only one account and wants to post something, which one usually would not do under ones profile, this could be a way to cover up the identity. 

It also could be fun to test whether readers can be attracted when not relating the content to a known name and so be more "unbiased". That would require not to sift through the commentators section in order to not being tempted to guessing authors. LOL

All in all it sounds complicated with the repair stuff, in case some one is detected later on as a copy and paster.

And as for physical violence can I threaten to kick my own butt? I mean sometimes I really do test my own patients so I mean is it allowable for me to threaten my own self?

Especially say if I need to get out and go work out however I've been pretty lazy and my own posterior needs a kicking? 

What about if my puppy dog beat me up with his tail does that count as violence as well? 

Anyway I'm following you and a few of these accounts but I'm kind of clueless on a lot of things I might need a little bit of explanations however thank you very much I really appreciate it.

### I recommend everyone following my posts to read this initiative from @trostparadox  carefully. 
It's really clever and beneficial to curators and content creators. 

Now is the chance to prove that you really are a content creator. This is not just for POB but for Hive rewards and also other communities. There is a lot to be gained by posting in proofofblind:

In other words there are great upvotes in Hive and in communities for those who post original content.

The process of submission is simple and genius using the initial memory of the blockchain.

> Post a ‘reply’ to this post (or the most recent @blind.submit “Request for Submissions” post) containing all the ‘required’ fields (e.g. title, body, and tags).
Immediately after your comment is published, edit the comment and replace everything with the phrase “Ready for review.” Make certain that your content is actually published as a comment before you edit it.

> NOTE: Even though you will be deleting all the content from your reply post, as long as you published it first, a copy of the original comment will be immutably stored on the Hive blockchain. We will retrieve that copy, check it for plagiarism, then post it as a stand-along post via @proofofblind.

It is like a magic disappearing and reappearing act. You place all the information in the comment place and make sure the comment is submitted. Then presto you erase the comment with the phrase:

“Request for Submissions”

The submission is now blind except for those who are interested in searching the blockchain for the original comment. This is sweet because everything is done right here on Hive.

I'd love to see my friends here submit one post to @blind.submit and keep track of how the rewards come out. I bet they will be great. As @trostpardox follows others will follow from several communities.

I think anyone could put a post here even if we have been around for a while so I will try a post here next week. My writing style is very unique so I think I won't have to write my name anywhere and a lot of you will know I wrote it.

However that question still lingers in my head...

Is there anything wrong with writing our username at the bottom of the post as a signoff? Something like this:

Wow is extremely good one, it give a unique steps. total rewards, etc. The leaderboard will be a useful feature for manual curators to discover new content creators to follow.





How do I submit my original content?
Sometime in the future, we hope to streamline the submission process to make it easier and more seamless.

Here is the initial process for submitting a post to the Proof of Blind project:

Write your original content, including each of the following elements:
TITLE = Title you want to give the post. (Required)
BODY = Your original content (Required)
STATEMENT OF ORIGINALITY = Your submission must include this statement: "This submission represents original content, created by me, that has never been published before, on Hive or elsewhere." (Required)
TAGS = What keywords best describe what your post is about. You may also include tribe-specific tags, such as “leofinance” (however, we will only include tribe-specific tags that we deem relevant). (One Required)
HOW I FOUND PROOF OF BLIND = Please let us know the individual or Hive user who was most influential in you coming to Proof of Blind (Optional),with this step it will make we novice to set up more ideas and make it happen, once again tanks so much for putting this across.

Fabulous @trostparadox, thank you for sharing these with me earlier today. I'd love to curate proofofblind posts and would drop in the odd submission myself. What a fabulous idea to bring students into the fold and encourage positive and constructive engagement and curation whilst providing much-needed exposure and support to new authors on the Hive.
