Kamusta, traders! We are expanding the lineup of non Graphene gateways, and this time we’re adding a **[Gridcoin](https://gridcoin.us/)** gateway.

 Even though it doesn’t utilize Graphene technology, it is one of those coins ideas behind which resonate with our team. Also [GRC community](https://gridcoin.us/) is quite active on [Bitshares RuDEX](https://market.rudex.org/) and has been requesting a listing from us. Finally we have some free time to add this coin.

Trading **GRC** on [RuDEX](https://market.rudex.org/) has several advantages over trading them on centralized exchanges. Here are the main ones:

- An ability to trade against completely decentralized assets (bitRUBLE, bitUSD, BTS, etc)
- Fast support
- Telegram based trollbox
- Ease of on/off-ramping into fiat (gateways for bitRUBLE with fees as low as 0%)
- Only you control and can access your account and funds
- The Bitshares based exchange can’t close be blocked (with [desktop applications for all popular OSes](https://github.com/blckchnd/rudex-ui/releases) allowing you to connect even if the site is blocked)

During the design of the gateway we were aiming to ensure the following parameters:

- Independency
- Transparency and ease of audit
- Strict correlation between amount of tokens in the wallet and on the DEX
